Hairitage Salon

I ended up at this shop because my hair dresser could not get me in for 2 months. The owner who is a certified loctician, interlocked my locs. She is very knowledgeable and did a great job on my locs. My parting system was very neat. I will be returning for loc maintenance. Shop was very clean and the staff were very friendly.

The shop is clean but environment not really welcoming due to some of the staff looking miserable and no one really says anything to you unless you are checking in. Have seen some customers be offered water and others not, just makes for an awkward uncomfortable feeling. Even if saying hello isn’t comfortable for some of the staff I think they should all say hello or "welcome in" and greet with smiles like other places for example great clips. If appointment is running late due to another client no one stops and checks on the customer. The cuts are good but if I can get both somewhere else I for sure will do that. No one likes to feel like their business isn’t appreciated. Have come here and given business a few times but still getting the same service that’s a big deal. I don’t think I will be back or recommending anytime soon.

One of the best experiences I have had I came in with bleached ends and came out with a healthy red wine hair color. The girls at the salon were very friendly professional and full of experience. You can tell they care about what they do and their clients they answered any questions I had about aftercare and gave lots of good advice. Even the girl who was being taught and was working on my hair with a more experienced girl did a great job. Through the whole experience I never felt nervous or worried. My hair felt healthier and looked like it could be my natural hair color. Would definitely recommend and go back.

I’m so grateful that I have found this place. It’s difficult to find a salon that gets light blonde the way I like it! Price is great and even better if you have cash. I really recommend this spot! Here are before and after videos!

Great place, called around town to see who could do some braids for me for a wedding and hairatage delivered. Other places I called either didn't respond right away or gave me a bit of the run around. My stylist....(forgive me) who's name escapes me right now braided my hair in about an hour and sent me on my way with a follow-up appointment and a clean braid of hair. UPDATE: Noticed this was getting a lot of views. So Lori (sorry it took me a hot minute) has been continuing to braid my hair to this day. Look she is so awesome that I missed 2 appointments and no calls, personal BS, totally my fault, she agreed to take me as a client again. I forgot that it is completely up to the stylist as to which clients they see, should always remember that. So she takes pictures after each session, Lori I know you read these 😁, maybe she'd be kind enough to lend me a few for the time being so people can see her work. Cheers.

Laurie did a great job. Very happy with my hair. She’s super cool too!! Definitely go here. Great place. Just moved to ABQ and found my spot!

I love this salon everytime I'm in town i come here. They work with all hair types, she has very talented staff and the atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. Much ❤️
