Conveniently located next to Courtyard Marriott hotel. Able to find our travel necessities and more. The place is well-stocked. Not to crowded, so it was easy to shop around. And able to take time checking product labels we have never tried before.
Above and beyond. It's crazy busy as with all other Trader Joe's but there was a really sweet, super sharp, petite lady there that gave my child an arm's length of stickers. Totally made our whole family's day. Thank you so much! ❤️
Like all TRADER JOE'S, this store is well stocked, well managed, and filled with the specialty foods your stomach craves and your brain dreams about. Since this is a high volume market the shelves are constantly restocked. There are many employees on the floor who will lead you the item you are looking for. Prices are remarkably fair for such a high quality unique selection. STUFF: Plenty of free parking. Everything is ADA compatible. The bathrooms are located in the rear of the store. The beggar at checkout will help you bring your order to your car.
Oh Joe, I love you so, but why you gotta let me down? I don't think it would be overstating things to say that I LOVE Trader Joe's greeting cards. Like, I will spend an irresponsible amount of money on greeting cards alone and often have to carefully time my visits to a Trader Joe's location to coincide with times when I have extra spending money. But the past few visits to this, my most frequented location, have been a bit of a discouragement when it comes to Birthday Cards. Spring is what I like to call "The Birthday Gauntlet" with a dozen family birthdays in rapid succession over the course of three months. One does not simply enter The Gauntlet without an ample supply of cardstock or THERE WILL BE TEARS (admittedly, most of them will probably be my own as I feverishly try to conjure appropriately festive birthday sentiments while also trying to complete my tax return). Let me set the scene for you: it was April 3rd and I was down to my last two birthday cards. I was already four birthdays into The Gauntlet and was starting down the barrel of another seven over the course of the next two weeks, including but not limited Best Friend (Los Angeles Edition), Favorite Pen Pal (Chicago Edition), Beloved Sister (x2), Beloved Nephew (x2), Beloved Niece (x2), and Beloved Brother. And no, I can't just double up on card designs, that would be a sign of a weak character: someone tOo BuSy AnD iMpOrTaNt to go pick out a special card for each person. In an effort to demonstrate my exceptional strength of character (individual card designs for EVERYBODY!) I went into my most frequented Trader Joe's location on a very specific mission. True, I did walk out of the store with 17 greeting cards in my hand but only 3 of them were birthday themed. My previous visit to the same location involved a similar paucity of birthday-specific cards, which is why I was down to having only two left in my collection. It feels unsporting to rate this Trader Joe's location four stars, when really I have five-star sentiments toward it, but if I WANT to spend my money on birthday cards at Trader Joe's but have to go buy them at Dollar Tree or Five Below instead, I feel like that fifth star needs to sit in the corner for while and think about capitalism.
They try to be respectful which is good, but normally one out of two/three, the cashiers make mistakes.! I wonder if they have no inspector, or human resource department to train them and trace their performance.
My mother in law just had the worst encounter with one of the workers. After checking out one of her bags broke and she kindly asked for a new one but (Kevin) told her next time she’d have to pay for it with the worst attitude. We always shop at this store but will switch to a different location :/ so rude for no reason
The staff here, like many other Trader Joe's, is always helpful, knowledgeable and smiling. These people make close to minimum wage, and yet they're always happy. Go figure. Lately I've been on a cheese and dip kick, and Trader Joe's aims to please. To go salads are also at the top of my list. I just discovered the udon noodle salad with peanut dressing, and it's delish. One question I get asked a lot is about the 2 different blue corn tortilla chips. The triangle shaped ones are light, airy, crisper and more crunchy, with a nice salt to chip ratio. The round, "sprouted seed" ones are more dense, have a more earthy flavor, rustic, less crunch, almost like the bags been open a day. But they're healthier because of the sprouted seeds? You'll have to try them both. I'd bring the triangle one to a party though. Omg, yes, it finally happened. March 2023, 1 cheese section to rule them all. This location put all of their cheeses in one spot, right around the corner from the main Market section in the wine area. Now you can browse all of the different cheese at the same time. Cheese explosion. Stand in front of it, admire it, take cheesy photos in front of it. Pub Cheese, the Combozola and Buffalo Cheddar are my picks for formage. The korean bbq ribs in the frozen section will knock your trivia game night out of the park, and put your place on the map as THE party palace. I also like the fact that you can find some bacon and salami without nitrates or any preservatives. That's definitely a huge plus! Parking... eh, the only Trader Joe's that I found that has unlimited parking is the one on Fallbrook and vanowen. But who wants to drive all the way out there every time. So if you're willing to deal with having to wait for a spot sometimes, any Trader Joe's will do. The trick is to try to go early in the morning when they open, till just before lunch. Then there's another small window between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. where you should find an easier space. After 4:00 p.m., till they close, good luck.
