Shun Fat Supermarket

This frozen durian from Shunfat is an absolute crime against food! Calling it garbage would be an insult to garbage. This disgusting abomination tastes like a frozen, flavorless sewer water that's been trapped in an ice cube for three years. The Arctic ice itself has more taste and a better texture than this pathetic excuse for a fruit! The audacity to charge premium price $40 for this trash is unbelievable! It's not even once frozen, it's a mushy, rotten mess that clearly has been thawed and refrozen god knows how many times. They are literally selling us refrozen, decomposed slop and have the nerve to call it durian. A complete rip off and the worst thing I've ever put in my mouth. NEVER..!!.!!! AGAIN.!!.!! "Fresh fruit"?!?

Great store. Fresh produce and well stocked. Found a lot stir fry items.Fresh ginger and big selection of mushrooms. Alot of good leafy greens . Good varieties of sauce for many dishes. Fresh fish big selection of meat and chicken. I walk Each aisle and find more items I need or cannot find at other stores. Very big selection of coconut water and other beverages. Found broom that was at good price. Staff helpful. Clean store. SF Packed all the time,check out counter are quick. Miss their see thru bags. Parking always busy,patients pays off I get front parking due to customer coming and going. Looking forward to next visit.

Lately, I have been noticing expired products from the store. I forgot to take a picture but a few weeks ago it Korean pepper powders on the shelves and now it’s cookies I bought a few days ago. I go here for the variety of foods they offer. However, it seems like their quantity is too much that they can’t control their quality, it is going down. I don’t typically buy meat here because I got pork belly once and it was so stinky. I would rather buy meat at Costco. I hope SF will keep better track of inventory that way people don’t eat expired foods. Also customers make sure to look at expiration dates because the foods I saw were 1-2 years expired. It was not the manufactured date.

Shopped for Chinese beneficial pain rubbing oils. Either white flower or Kwan Loong pain relieving oil worked the best for and pain ache on your body

I get all my Asian groceries that I can't find at winco or Costco. Sometimes I go to super kings but place has more option and get fried tilapia freshly made at the back and have them clean/chop and salted at the same time

This store is a total rip-off. I bought two packages of Zhenzhen Fuzhou meatballs and a small bottle of Lao Gan Ma chili oil, and they charged me 5.99 yuan for each item! I was on the phone with a friend at the time, so I didn't notice. Only when I got home did I realize they overcharged me two yuan for each item. Is this big supermarket going bankrupt or something, to be so stingy over just 6 yuan?

Located in Normandy Village Center on the NE corner of West & Hammer Lanes. This grocery store has a very large selection of Asian items. There is a live fish market, every packaged meat you can think of. The produce is super fresh & nicely pre-packaged. You will also find many American brand products. Too many to list.
