Raley's

I usually don’t shop at this grocery store, but I had to pick up a few things last week and ended up being pleasantly surprised. The aisles were pretty organized, and it was easy to find most of what I needed. The produce section looked fresh, and they had a decent variety of fruits and veggies. The staff were friendly enough, especially the cashier who was patient while I dug through my coupons. Prices seemed reasonable compared to some other stores nearby. It wasn’t super crowded, which made the trip quick and hassle-free. Overall, I’d say it’s a solid option if you’re in the area and need to grab groceries without spending too much time.

Living close by makes it hard to not go to this store. But I'm beginning to think driving a greater distance may be warranted given my recent experiences at this location. They do not provide customer service in a timely fashion. See photo below of line for the one open checker. Additionally, I'm concerned of the overall food safety of the facility. A quick glance at the wine shelves and I noticed dust that's been collecting since the Reagan era. I'm likely to start shopping elsewhere. You may also want to consider going elsewhere.

We ordered a mothers day cake, and it was absolutely beautiful. The decorations on it were amazing. The cake was moist. The frosting was fantastic. We will definitely order another cake again from this bakery. Just had my birthday. The cake was done beautifully. The marble cake was moist, and the details of the cake was wonderful.

I'll share my experience in my own bias opinion. I can't say for certain though it seemed to me based on my appearance I feel I fell victim to discrimination via the manager of raley's. I just finished a 16-hour shift as a mechanic. So I'm not looking my best I'm sure. I walked directly to the self-checkout clerk and asked cordially, " excuse me this is where I redeem my California lottery ticket right?" She replied"you need to go buy a lottery ticket first over there." She pointed to the kiosk. ?? I told her I'm just trying to redeem my winning ticket. She scanned the ticket $500 winner hands it back to me in a very dismissive manner and says I don't have that you need to go somewhere else. Mind you it's 6:30pm Friday night at raley's. I have to believe that's bs. Mainly because I walked around the store and asked and they were confused as to why she wouldn't help me no one was going to help me without feeling like they're going to get themselves in trouble.

Definitely one of the nicest grocery stores in Stockton. Prices are high but you can always find good sales. Located off East Morada & Hwy 99. Deli has some great salads & bakery great cakes.

The store is clean. The employees are friendly and always helpful. I don't like the dogs in the grocery cart that are Not service dogs. The pharmacy needs more help a drive through or delivery to parking lot. You have to walk so far, when you're sick this sucks!

My favorite local grocery and has been a family staple since I was a young girl. It is rather nostalgic to go there. Everyone is always really helpful. The store is always clean and really well stocked. Plenty of parking.
