Woory Market Oriental Food

My family had a gathering yesterday, and we decided to order catering from Woory Market. I must say, all of the food we ordered tasted absolutely fantastic! Additionally, the owner of the store was incredibly friendly and helpful. I was struggling to determine how much food we needed for our family members, but he kindly provided guidance on the appropriate amount. It was really nice! What's more, they gave us a generous amount of food, ensuring everyone was well-fed and satisfied. I've tried ordering catering from Joongboo before, but unfortunately, I had a negative experience. The response from the employees was rude and it seemed like they tried to refused my order last time. In comparison, Woory Market stands out for their excellent customer service. I'm so pleased with Woory Market - they truly prioritize treating their customers well. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for great food and excellent service!!

Great visit. Friendly service. Love reading ingredients that I've never used. Not hard at all if you just want to browse and look for new items just to looks at. It was fun.

Authentic korean food store. Great selection of products such as Shin and Jin mild and spicy-hot ramen, best Korean ginger tea you can get, kimchi, various types of mandu/dumplings and many more. Fair prices.

The photos speak for themselves. A most disappointing and unethical business practice. They layer all of the fatty, unwanted cuts beneath the topmost layer which is outwardly an appealing layer. More alarming is that they blacked out the "packed on" date which is printed as "11/29" and I purchased this on 1/21/24. I am hoping that they change their ways after reading this review.

I had a fantastic experience at this store! The food is absolutely delicious – fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into every dish. The owner is also incredibly friendly and welcoming, Great service and a wonderful atmosphere all around. Highly recommend checking it out!

Baby Nappa Yulmoo 1 gallon kimchi has so much liquid. Not worth $20 for watery kimchi

I hope the owner can see this - my wife and I are really sad to see this store close. Ever since I moved to Schaumburg, I have shopped at this store. In fact, when my son was born three years ago, it was the first store I ever took him to. I will miss the salted mackerel at an incredibly cheap price. My son likes the Gimbap here better than what they sell at H-Mart and was always so excited when we'd bring home some of the roasted chestnuts and Pepero snacks. I could always find all of my favorite Korean products here and even discover some new ones. And to me, I always prefer the experience of going to the family corner store instead of a chain.
