Crystal Spring Grocery Co.

A lovely brunch with my Fab neighbors who are a part of our "little dinner club… " as always, wonderful conversation , company and food. We ate at Crystal Springs grocery Co. one of our friends Linda just found a fabulous apartment and we were celebrating her new neighborhood. They have delicious food and coffee. ( and they have gluten-free bread and are very cautious about my celiac which I appreciate ) They also have prepared food ,wines, mixers and packaged goods… They are local , they’re fabulous and you should check them out !

Absolutely love CSGS. This is the best place to grab lunch with a friend, stock up on terrific wine, get a great hostess gift, etc. Just did a wine tasting there last night and it was delightful. Great company, delicious wine, and I knocked out some holiday shopping early. My favorite to-gos are the deviled eggs and the banana pudding, and for lunch I love the Yard Bull burger with the BEST fries in town.

I truly enjoyed meeting every one of your delightful staff and our lunch was amazing. I would recommend Crystal Spring Grocery Co as a "must visit". The turkey sandwich and the chicken sandwich were just a perfect match with the custom seasoning you use on your fries. I'll be back soon, and I know I'll be back when those crepe myrtles out front are in bloom.

If the people working here see me, they probably would recognize me. I visit CSG almost every week. It has become a regular occurrence for my life to have lunch here, even so that my colleagues call me their brand ambassador since I always ask to go here 🙈🙈🙈 In a couple days, they might know my order too but for now I usually get the chicken sandwich I love the roasted mushroom pita and the cucumber tartine. Ngl, their cold pasta and noodles are amazing too! And the fries are to die for- (I avoid ordering them cuz they’re all gone in seconds 🥲🥲) The staff is amazing to alter the ingredients when they can- I sometimes get the chicken on a bed of lettuce to avoid extra carbs and they gladly do it. I’m gonna let you all on a secret- probably not a secret but they sell the best pecan shortbread in town- hands Down. I have recommended this place to people who visit Roanoke from outside, to my uber drivers, to many more. Just by the review you will understand how much I love this place! Anyone reading this in the area, drop everything and go visit…. You won’t be disappointed.

A little pricey but a classy nice place. Staff is very sweet.

I love living within walking distance of CSG. They are a great lunch spot (the tomato bisque, chopped salad, pimento cheese sandwich, fries, and roasted turkey sandwhich are my fav), have yummy cold case items, and offer great gifts (though on the pricey side). The store is always super clean, well decorated and inviting. A neighborhood gem.

What a find! Everything was imaginative and absolutely delicious! Their Griddled Cheese sandwich was oozing with cheese, the bread perfectly grilled and with just the perfect amount of whole grained mustard. The Double Patty Melt was served on a brioche bun, with the usual toppings, except they add smoked onions! Amazing! I had to try the Blackened Sweet Potato Sandwich! Intriguing, right? It was incredibly tasty...rye bread, sweet potatoes, crispy onions, goat cheese and shredded cabbage! So delicious! Good coffee and nicely seasoned french fries...they were delicious, but a tad too salty for my taste. If we lived in the area, I would lunch here frequently. The staff were pleasant, helpful and efficient.
