Never Again. It’s Thanksgiving day and I am in a huge line behind about 40 others waiting for our prepaid Thanksgiving meals. This is terribly organized. I waited 35 minutes in line to have my QR code skewed and then was directed to the front of the store to wait in line again to get the food. Workers are rushing out to a truck outside to fulfill the orders. Unfortunately, a manager just told me that they have more orders than food so many of us will not be getting our Thanksgiving dinners that we paid four weeks ago. When they finally called my name, I got a thrown together order of what was left. A turkey I didn't order, some gross apple cider vinegar brined bird that tasted like ham it was so salty- I couldn't eat it. The beans were not cooked, they gave me bland yams instead of the mashed potatoes I ordered and the gravy was disgusting, half-coagulated globs of mucus. The food was heavily over-salted. Instead of making flavorful food, they just dump salt in it. My mother couldn't eat any of it. One meal was two days worth of sodium. Whole Foods, get your act together- New recipes and especially a new organizer for your Holiday meals. I won't be a customer ever again.
Great customer service for some employees, but not all. The food here is advertised as USDA organic on the label, as appropriate, yet they have refrigeration trucks on the south side of the building advertising the use of Microban in the refrigeration units where perishable foods are stored. Microban is a chemical that appears to be exposing the organic foods to what extent, I would like to know. Could this be voiding the products as authentically organic, post harvest? Please consider HACCP, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points, as cutting both ways. Who wants to buy premium organic foods that have been exposed to Microban? I see a need for a thorough investigation into probable exposure and a health risk to consumers. We may not know the full risks of these chemicals in our food supply as of yet, but how can they still be considered organic? They at least need a sticker that says, "This product has been exposed to Microban," right next to the USDA organic label to allow the consumer to buy at their discretion.
We were looking for this certain tea. Found the same tea we were looking for online at Amazon for $3.00 less than at Whole Foods Market. I don't understand how anyone wants to shop there. I make a decent living and have decided I'm not going back there. Sorry to hang a negative light but just stating the truth. They're way overpriced and ripping people off. Plus bioengineered ingredients in some of their food products. How is that healthy? Yeah, not where I want to be shopping.
Today, we attempted to place a delivery order for the same day at 12 p.m. However, the system only offered us the option for the next day. Since the order was urgent, we decided to place a pickup order instead. Upon arriving at the store, we received a notification informing us that the store no longer takes groceries to the car. So, we had to enter the store to retrieve the order, which was quite inconvenient. I believe that all locations should adhere to standardized protocols, rather than having some stores follow different procedures.
You can’t go wrong w/ WholeFoods. A quick prepackaged meal can compete with the chain restaurants any day of the week. This location has great staff and everything looks as it should, excellent! Thanks to the staff for all the help!
Love their prepared food, however not all full, alot of items empty, soups, rice, etc.. 12/17 4:30 pm Love their fresh sourdough bread, just a good beer selection, they have 2 great root beers, Maine & Virgils. Also ordered 1 piece of their cooked salmon, was thinking of having for xmas., no way!! fishey tasting, I put in a fettuccine cream sauce, and $24.99/ lb, one piece $9.00 , guess i stick to making my own Salmon.
Really nicely laid out, excellent customer service and great products. Very high quality grocery store for certain. Just back in town, and went in for a couple of meal plans, really reinforced my opinion. Seafood and Meats were just amazingly fresh and so nicely displayed/stocked. Went with a piece of Swordfish ($22/Lb) because it was so incredibly Fresh and Moist looking. Also got a Bone in Pork Chop ($6.49/Lb) super fresh beautiful thick cuts with both dark and lighter side. Service was fantastic.
