168 Asian Market

Before i came here, i did read a review that many saying this store is quite pricey. However, i still wanted to go and to look by myself. Apparently it's true that many items are very expensive. Only pandan and banana leaves are worth to buy (but i didn't buy). This store is pricey than other big asian store in Reno that i went. I live in between Reno and Las Vegas. I still prefer shopping asian grocery in Las Vegas even though i need to drive 6 hours for one way.

They offer a wide variety with competitive pricing. Also, they have a friendly, helpful staff. Love their Chinese sausage for fried rice!

I just came in to buy snacks for a dinner party Bite sizeJello packs in a cute plastic bear bin with handle. Shredded big bag ika original flavor they also carry hot and spicy one. Service was quick was not busy when I got in at 530pm on Saturday.

Very good assortment of products. I’m very particular about seasonings, snacks and my soy sauce and I’m never disappointment by the selection.

So many different good things here. We love it. The staff is very helpful also.

Items are about double of what I would pay in the bay area in california. When I first saw the 168 name in the market I thought it was same as the now closed fremont 168 supermarket. It was not. No fresh fruit or vegetables. Smaller market compared to asian mart. I probably won't be back since the inventory is a bit lacking.
