I purchased a pack of short ribs at 99 Ranch today. When selecting it, the top layer looked reasonable — the marbling appeared normal and the fat-to-meat ratio seemed acceptable, which is why I decided to buy it. However, after opening it at home, I found that the bottom pieces were almost entirely thick layers of fat. The difference in quality between the top and bottom layers was significant. I understand that short ribs naturally contain fat, and I wasn’t expecting them to be lean. I was already prepared for them to be on the fattier side. But this went far beyond what would be considered normal — the overall quality felt inconsistent and disappointing. Consumers rely on what they can see when selecting products. When the visible portion differs so drastically from what’s underneath, it raises concerns about how the meat is being packaged. Additionally, compared to online platforms like Weee where customer service is easily accessible, there doesn’t seem to be a clear or convenient feedback channel for in-store purchases. That makes the experience even more frustrating. I hope the store can improve quality control and packaging transparency to maintain customer trust.

I’ve been to several 99 Ranch Markets over the years, and this one stands out as hands-down the nicest I’ve ever been in. It’s clean, well-organized, and has such a welcoming atmosphere. The baked goods are absolutely delicious — soft, fresh, and just the right amount of sweetness. I always make a beeline for the bakery section; everything from the pineapple buns to the red bean pastries is top-notch. Their seafood selection is another highlight. The fish is incredibly fresh, with a wide variety that’s hard to beat. You can tell they take care in how they display and handle it. And the produce? Crisp, colorful, and abundant. I always find all the Asian vegetables I’m looking for — and then some! This store really raises the bar for what an Asian grocery shopping experience should be. Highly recommend!

I stopped by this store for the first time to pick up groceries for my homemade turkey stuffing, and I was absolutely blown away! The selection is incredible, everything from fresh produce and quality meats to seafood. I can’t believe I’ve lived so close and never checked it out before! They even have a food area where you can grab ready-to-eat meals, including duck! I ended up buying ground beef, pork, beef chunks, veggies, and fruit. The cashier, Joy, was friendly and made the experience even better. The store itself is clean, well-maintained, and a pleasure to shop in. This place is fantastic, I’ll definitely be coming back!

Food galore >> everything Asian and multicultural food items, with a great assortment of fresh exotic fruits, produce and spices. The rear features fresh seafood, meats, a mixed variety of poultry and live lobsters. The store is always clean, organized and well stocked. In the front, the bakery, quick tasty bites to go section and *liquor section (*) pricey liquor available, as well -- can be found.

You must check entire boxes of fruit. They often contain rotten ones.

A lot of Asians goods but depending on location, mostly good 💯😊 I really appreciate they're having fresh durian in reasonable prices 😋🤤
