Oh Ye Coconut Desserts

My boyfriend and I came here today and were totally disappointed. The jars we got were much smaller than before, yet we were charged $12.50 plus tax for the one shown in the photo. We regretted ordering three jars and one whole coconut — the total came to more than $50. It honestly felt like we were being ripped off. When I mentioned it to the cashier, he insisted the portion was the same as before, but there’s no way — the old jars were at least double the size. On top of that, it didn’t even taste good. Such a waste of money. We definitely won’t be coming back.

Pretty good - albeit limited range of desserts and some drinks. Worth one try for sure if you like coconut We have a few different desserts and all were a decent std - although the mango itself (pictured) did not taste that great - the coconut base was good.

I went to the store yesterday and bought 3 jars of coconut (original single layer). The size was smaller than before. I ate 1 first right after the purchase in the car on the way home, it was sour. I did not throw away and still saved 2 in the freight because I think maybe that one was old. Today, I opened another 1 and it smelled terrible. I got the signature coconut jelly single layer for a total of $9.58. The jelly was sour and totally inedible. Also, the size of the jar is smaller than before but the price is higher now. Before, it was a total of $8.50 for the same dessert. I kept a few of their old jars and compared to the new jar. It was not the same ounce size.

Dessert bottle is much smaller than previous one while price remains the same. I got coconut jelly around 7:30 pm and dessert tastes sour, which I am concerned if the raw material is fresh. I tried calling the store but no one picked up. I am very disappointed and won’t buy any dessert from this store in the future

The quality and taste are not consistent. Each time we get the coconut jelly, you get a surprise. It can be good or bad. Need to try your luck. No public bathroom or bathroom at all. I only go here because they have the least amount of sugar and options for people with allergies or diet restrictions.

This place in Quincy sells coconut milk jello with various combos of sweet toppings. Each serving comes in a huge glass jar. We took the one with black glutinous rice at the bottom. It was expensive for jello. $12+ including taxes. The jello was very light but could be better. It broke up very quickly and had a slightly stale smell of cheap coconut milk. If it is the signature item, I suggest they get a better quality coconut milk source. The glutinous rice base though was really good. Flavourful and not too sweet. The ambience was quite nice. Bright and clean with 2 tables. You can make your purchases at the tablet kiosk or at the counter. The menu needs to be bigger and brighter. Difficult to understand the options while reading it on the wall beside the dim counter. Overall a good dessert but a little pricey
