⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Shopping Experience I enjoy shopping at HEB West University in Odessa, TX. The store is consistently clean, well-organized, and well stocked. The produce section is fresh, and the bakery always has a great selection. What really stands out at this location is the friendly and helpful staff. Employees are courteous, easy to find when you need help, and checkout is efficient without long waits. The overall atmosphere is welcoming and well managed. This HEB offers a solid selection of everyday essentials along with local products, making it a reliable place to shop whether you’re grabbing a few items or doing a full grocery run. I would definitely recommend this location.

I discovered this HEB in Odessa. Texas has a Texas True BBQ restaurant inside the store. Simply phenomenal! You must try the moist brisket!

I love HEB usually, but this one is horrible. The curbside shoppers are so incredibly rude. They park their big carts in the middle of the isle so nobody can pass on either side. The the just push through the crowd and expect the customers to move or get hit. 2 of them were standing in front of the neat talking about if they hooked up with some dude last night. It was busy and when I asked if they could move, the big girl rolled her eyes and sighed at me. Give me a break. Talk about your extra circular activities after work. Be more courteous to the actual customers inside the store. Plus they don't know how to bag groceries. Who puts chemicals in the same bag as ready to eat foods? That's disgusting. Do better HEB

I stopped here on my way to my hotel stay. Always pleased with when variety and selection at HEB. I got some sushi and it was amazing and the prices on Wednesday was amazing as they run a promotion. There were so many varieties of dessert, meal prep, seafood and produce I was actually surprised at the high level of variety. They also had a cool BBQ restaurant inside that features BBQ brisket enchiladas and an amazing cherry cobbler. A plus in every way!!!

Im an OTR truck driver. I stopped at this store on Oct 27th. Bought a Turkey Cranberry salad that cost $6.14 but was charged $61.48. I didn't catch it until the next day but I was already on the road in El Paso. When I came home I went to my local HEB I was told I had to contact Odessa because purchase was made there. I called this location and was told nothing could be done over the phone or E-mail. Had to go back to the store(I'm 600 miles away).Check your receipts because HEB will rob you, and not offer to help you in any way to make it right. Neither my local store or this one could help me. Here Everything in NOT Better.

After calling several stores with no luck(including HEB midland/odessa some didn’t even pickup), I reached out to this HEB hoping they could help with a last-minute cake for my nephew’s 2nd birthday. Nicole in the Bakery was incredibly patient and helpful taking my order over the phone. I requested a Disney Pixar Cars cupcake cake, and although they didn’t have toppers, she offered a picture cake instead and helped me choose colors. She confirmed everything back to me, and the cake turned out amazing—we got so many compliments on how good the cupcakes were! Thank you, Nicole, for taking pride in your work. It truly shows! ❤️🫶🏼

Under normal circumstances, we drive to the store to shop for groceries. I relied on delivery services for medical reasons to avoid crowded spaces. I placed my order early on Sunday for evening delivery. At the time of delivery, I received a notification that one item was unavailable. I chose to cancel that item, but it still appeared as charged. I called the store multiple times but was left on hold without an answer. I then contacted the 800 number and was told the item had been substituted with a larger, more expensive version. The representative explained she had also tried to call the store to cancel on my behalf but could not get through. I was then told my only option was to drive back to the store for a refund—completely defeating the purpose of using delivery. This experience shows that H‑E‑B is not adequately prepared to handle delivery services. The communication process is ineffective and does not meet the needs of customers who depend on this option. Additionally, speaking with someone from the store didn’t prove to be any better and confirms the process requires review.
