Love that there’s an authentic Asian grocery store in New Haven. They have Asian ingredients that you wouldn’t find in most supermarkets so I’m very glad this place exists.

This place is disgusting. I went to million market to buy coconut milk, and the old lady there told me the small bottles were in the fridge. When I looked, none of them had production dates — they literally wiped them off with alcohol! You can still see the smudges. That’s shady and dangerous. The lady is super mean and nasty to customers. Totally awful attitude. I’ll never come back, and honestly, this place should be checked by health inspectors.

Big variety of Asian goods and snacks. Be careful with the expiration dates on some of their sauces.

Very nice service, loads of Asian varieties of food, and good prices. Store is very well stocked. Aisles are clear. Displays are constantly maintained and empty spots filled. While it is impossible to find everything you might remember from Asia in any store in America, they had quite a few things I loved. Fresh fish in the back. Will be coming back more when I am in the New Haven area.

This market is one of the best Chinese markets I’ve been to in CT as far as variety goes. My one regret is that I didn’t look at the expiration dates before I purchased the products. 2 of the products I bought expired a few months ago and one pack of noodles (pictured) expired/best before date 10 months ago. With that being said, I will still shop here, I will just verify the expiration dates first.

This place has a great selection of fresh produce as well as well-priced vegetarian proteins like soy puffs, tofu, seitan, seitan puffs, etc. I can't find these vegetarian proteins anywhere else but here. They also. have great noodles, spices, and ingredients to make good sauces. They always have a great selection of Chinese greens like Chinese broccoli, snow pea tips, bok choy, and more. This is a great place to go for good vegetarian ingredients and produce!
