Zam Zam International Market

This is a great store to buy items that are hard to find in Little Rock! They have an excellent selection and I was able to easily find everything I needed. The people are very nice as well - the man working helped me choose between a few different items for a recipe and I really appreciated it! Also - if you know me, you know that I LOVE beans of all kinds. Zam Zam has a great wide selection of dried beans that I can't find elsewhere in Little Rock. Finally, I think the prices are quite good especially for imported ingredients. I will return!

I have been shopping here for maybe 3 or 4 years and I live about an hour away. First, the prices here are excellent and they're going to beat online prices, they're going to beat the national grocery stores, and they're selling products that you can't find anywhere else. Second, everybody that works there are very nice and informed about the products. I have met the owner maybe twice and he's nice and a bit of a perfectionist, which you'll understand when you try their food at the restaurant in back of the store! I buy the Falafel wrap and eat it there and then I take 2 home for the next day. I'm going to argue that these Falafel wraps are the best in town. Concerning the groceries, I found many different beans and lentils that I like to use in the Instant Pot. I found Tahini used to make hummus. Good luck finding Tahini at other grocery stores. Their tahini is the best I have ever used hands down so I guess not all brands are the same. I really enjoy the loose leaf tea and the prices are incredible. I can get a lot of high quality tea for a great price. The store also features excellent gift items like cookies, snacks, European chocolates, Baklava, and drinks. I found some cologne that I really like! This is one of my favorite stores because it carries a lot of products that you can't get anywhere else, good prices, great vibe, friendly staff. UPDATE 12/2025: Their inventory increased and prices are lower which really shocked me. The things I used to buy are less now than they were. What? 🙂

There are numerous products neatly arranged, making it easy to find what you need. The store offers a great selection of spices, teas, and frozen foods. Additionally, the staff is very friendly.

Awesome store. I also bought a large bag of Basmati rice. If money was no object.

I went to this store yesterday to buy some bread. The seller kindly offered me fresher loaves even though I had picked the older ones. This shows how much they respect and care about their customers.

Two start is the maximum we could give. Even though there is a quite a variety of exotic items, the price is high, especially the refrigerated item. Worse, the ground beef is sold not fresh. It looks mix fresh with hidden frozen meat, and that is dishonest, particularly on the month of ramadan. (As proof, you can see it yourself in the picture, there's quite some grey meat. As illustration, the top was red fresh meat and the center is the mix with grey meat. That's more then the quarter... There is no idea how long it was oxidated or if it's safe to consume) Other than that, the cilantro was green when we bought it.. and that helped not giving a one star.

Stopped in during a recent trip to get some treats to bring back to coworkers. The staff was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable about their selection. Wish I had this in my city.
