It’s expensive to shop here if I’m being honest. My parents love their taros! So guess where all my money goes every weekend? Here lol I love that it’s very convenient for every islander in Seattle, WA! Unless you have food stamps then it won’t be as expensive. But for us that spends nearly $500-$1000 cash 💰it’s becoming a problem! Or do I have a problem ? lol
They are selling expired stuff in this store. Please check expire date before buy over here. I attached evidence picture. I saw even soy sonks was expired but they redate themselves . They put new expiration date on it. Please check everything before but over here. I already informed to Food quality checker. I hope that they will go and check over there.
My one stop for Fiji Indian snack needs. From powder milk, tin mutton, three sisters came, bingo, and much much more the list is endless. When nostalgia hits, they always deliver the best service. And every few often they also have fresh cream buns. I wish I could visit every week. Love their prices and customer service as well .
Avoid this place at all costs. They sell goods from other cultures while showing zero respect for them. The staff don’t greet you instead, they racially profile and follow you around the store, making you feel uncomfortable. On top of that, they tamper with expiration dates, erasing the real ones and replacing them with fake ones. It’s disgusting, dangerous, and should be reported immediately. People can get sick for godsake, shame on them, i’m surprised this place is still standing, they been doing this for years
Cheap sashimi cases, spicy crackers and moon light cookies, damn I’ll be killing it all day
I believe it was the owner, and unfortunately, his customer service is among the worst—unfriendly and confrontational. If you ask about a missing price tag or question a possible mislabeling, he gets defensive right away. I really wish there were more ethnic grocery options in the South End so we didn’t have to drive north and deal with this kind of experience. I’d suggest checking out Kent’s East Hill area—it seems to have a better selection of ethnic grocery stores.
Shopping here takes me back home. I get everything I need to make a delicious food for my family.thank you for your business
