I have shopped at Apna Bazaar several times and it is easily one of the best Indian grocery stores in the area. The Pros: Cleanliness: The store is always neat and well-organized. Service: The staff is consistently helpful and friendly. Convenience: There is ample parking, which makes for a stress-free trip. One Suggestion: The lower level has large glass windows that let in a lot of direct sunlight. It would be great if the curtains were kept pulled over to ensure the food items stay cool and maintain their freshness. Aside from that, it’s a wonderful place to shop!
Thank you making our Diwali 🪔 special, we never this kind of variety before in this store , tremendous changes we seen since last year✨✨beautiful ladies choice products(Bindi,Churiya, herbal cosmetics )we found out here as well , no need anymore to visit Kent selection. We can say perfect place to visit to shop everything 🥰and top of that Store Manager more welcoming and always ready to helping in order to placed order for desired Products just in case out of stock and unavailability .
I shopped here in the 2010s often as options were limited. I am glad that our diverse Kent is burgeoning with options now. I LOVE India and the food. As far as this place goes, it’s a complete laughingstock now. Sky high prices. Inventory scattered and messy, out of stock all the time on important staples. Management has no clue what customer service is. Zero fresh options. Parking lot is the best thing here. Luckily there is a much much better option basically less than a mile away from this place by Staples and TJ Maxx. PS I’ve seen cheaper prices at their Bellevue locations which is wild.
This is the worst store right now we buy grocery last eight years but right now from last eight months, her prize is really skyrocket from other Indian grocery stores you can compare. The price I’ll recommend you guys go to the fruiticana Indian grocery store and compare the price it is a big difference one more thing just check the expiry all the time right now they’re selling a lot of expiry products we are paying double the price and eating expiry products oh my God I’m so frustrated if you have extra money and you guys does not care your health, definitely go this Store
They deserve zero stars, but since there’s no option to give zero, I’m forced to give one. Apna Bazar used to offer delicious vegetarian cooked curries that was the main reason I visited the store almost every day. Whenever I bought the curry, I also ended up purchasing other groceries, so it was clearly a win-win for both me and the store. Now suddenly they’ve stopped selling cooked food without any notice. Honestly, what’s the point of starting something that attracts customers if they’re just going to discontinue it halfway? Poor decision making and terrible customer retention strategy. They just lost a regular customer who used to come daily.
I am from Oregon and all the Indian groceries over there were well equipped with a cafeteria too where you could enjoy some quick snack bites. I wish they had some quick snack food options too. Overall, there is everything you would expect from any Indian grocery store. When I was in, they were out of curry leaves and I had to remind one of the store folks who re-stocked them quickly. So just ask the store member if something is missing. There is no major Indian grocery store between Kent and all the way down to Sumner, so this is the only closest option if coming upwards from South.
Do NOT buy mangoes from here After spending almost $50 on a box of Alphonso mangoes (12 count), found out that 3 were ruined from the inside while 6 are already ruined from the outside. Thats almost 75% of the entire box ($37.5) Spoke to Gureen over the phone who escalated it to Trishna (manager), who flat out refused to do any refund / exchange
