Patel Brothers

This is a huge Patel Brothers store in Jackson Heights area. It is spacious, frozen goods are on the left side, veggies and fruits are right side including checkout lanes. At the back they have the grocery goods like rice, snack, masala, tea, coffee, candies and so much more. The store is mostly clean, but some areas have little mess and dirt. The prices appeared decent to me. The pickle section didn’t have the variety I was expecting. I saw multiple associates tidying up different sections of the store and restocking the inventories. There were several checkout lanes open to quickly move the lines. The long lines clearly indicated that the store was really popular among the locals.

Great store for all Indian groceries! Patel Brothers in New York has a really good collection—especially all Gujarati food items. From snacks to spices, everything you need is available. Clean, well-organized, and always stocked.

-INCREDIBLE prices such as $5 for a box of mithai (9 pieces or so) and on many imported (from india and parts of asia) items -they have sales too such as $4 for swad rasgulla can of 2.2kg -nice large variety of items such as rooh afza to afghan raisins to cardamom flavored syrup to facial and body care products to amazing prices on dry fruits (3 pounds of almonds raw at $13) to large bags of flour, rice, and of course fresh vegetables and fruits (i really love buying cilantro here) -good central location, a 2 minute walk from E F R and 7 train at jackson heights-roosevelt ave -they have stayed genuine and caring about this community in the neighborhood by keeping prices as low as possible given the rampant global inflation going on right now

Got the bikaji aalo bhujia from them. The stuff was torn up and was taped up to seal it back up. Didnt realize it until I got home. What kind of store sells taped up food so disappointed.

Highly recommend this place! The variety is fantastic—definitely one of the best collections of products in the area. Found everything on my list and discovered some great new brands too.

This place brings back my childhood memories and I always want to shop from here. It’s a diverse experience shopping from here and it’s a friendly experience. Food and drinks quality is very pure and lovely.
