The store is alright. Quite cheap abd fresh fruit and vegetable. There are bunch different spices, chutneys. Some staff can be expired, so just check the dates before buying. Also, what I don't like is that you can't find prices on some products till you go to cashier. What I like is the store is open 24 hours and prices are good.

Always a pleasure coming to this supermarket. I love how they have fresh produces. People who work there are very welcoming and helpful. I love all the Indian snacks that they carry. Would definitely recommend everyone to go and fresh produces and snacks plus they have halal meat there as well.

The store is run in a very unprofessional manner and is disorganized; the isles being so narrow leading to you either constantly bumping into people or moving out of the way, items stacked in random places and hand written labels not matching the advertised items made for a very stressful shopping experience. You can try asking one of the employees for help but they are probably either too busy, cannot speak the same language as you, or are unaware of what something standard like romaine lettuce is. I called before traveling here to make sure they had an item in stock I was looking for and was told it was available only to arrive and see it must have been out of stock for several days. From what I saw there are either only a few or no shopping carts available so you will be lugging around heavy baskets if you are doing your grocery shopping. The cashiers are extremely slow, and when it's finally your turn you will likely either be skipped by someone else or be interrupted by someone coming to do a price check on an item with the cashier. They will not bag your groceries, and hurry up when you bag your own because they will put the next person's groceries right on top of yours. All of the negatives of this store may sound disheartening, but instead of being phased I'd suggest considering all of the alternative stores in the area - I recommend going to one of those instead as they probably have what you are looking for there and at about the same price, without all the headaches of shopping here.

I trusted this Gingelly Oil would be like VVV & Sons, but Meenakshi Overseas LLC’s version is clearly different. Smells strange, looks cloudy, and feels heavy on the palate. I stopped using it after one try. Health inspectors should check if this is even safe for consumption — something’s not right here.

Apna Bazar one of the best and biggest grocery shop in this area , It’s really big and daily fresh item available everyday. it’s a very busy store also

Isles are too congested. Fruits are not that fresh most of the time. Vegetables and spices are much better compared to other items. Frozen fish is available but fridges are not well maintain to keep frozen fish in good condition. They have the most widest variety of rice that I've seen so far. Price of the goods is very much competitive to any other store where bangladeshi, indian and Pakistani grocery is available. Sidewalk on both sides are occupied by them and rarely it is been cleaned.

Large selection of mainly South Asian products, very big store by city standards. Produce is always priced competitively and fresh when in season (if out of season buyer beware). Easy access via the E, F, M, R and 7 trains. A Jackson Heights classic.
