I visit India Market regularly but never checked or Compare price for items anytime earlier. After listening from some friends that India Market is doing fraud which is big concerns. This Indian grocery store operated by multiple partners. During my visit today I observed the following issues: Pricing Discrepancies: The prices displayed on the menu boards differ from the amounts charged at the point-of-sale (POS) system. Customers are being charged higher or different prices than what is publicly displayed. This practice appears misleading and may constitute consumer fraud. I recommend reviewing and comparing the menu board prices with the POS transaction records. Staffing Concerns: The individuals cooking food and operating the restaurant appear to be working without proper work authorization. This raises concerns about labor law compliance and food safety regulations. Unprofessional Conduct: When these concerns were questioned, one of the owners, identified as Amar, responded in an argumentative and unprofessional manner instead of addressing the issues appropriately. Based on these observations, I believe this business may be operating in violation of consumer protection, labor, and food safety regulations. I respectfully request that the appropriate authorities investigate this matter to ensure compliance with all applicable laws.

The store is quite good and have all the groceries. But the food there is so Awful, i ordered chicken 65 biryani, it was so bad and the chicken was hard and tasted like old. Previously i ordered snacks with them which was also poor. If you are looking for good Indian grocery then you can visit this store. If you want best indian food around Eden Prairie then you can try India spice and Godawari

Bought today chicken 65 briyani family pack and chicken schewan noodles. The briyani rice was cooked with only 20% . Kind of rice and unable to eat. The noodles color looks blood. Full color agent where my kid scare to eat that. Never ever i go back to this India market.

Eden prairie and surrounding Asian/Indian community is considered very lucky to have a All-In-One, SUPER clean, organized store located in a convenient accessible location in my opinion. We are from different state and we always make multiple long distance stops for variety’s of products like fresh meat, fresh veggies etc. This store has everything you might need and satisfies almost any ethnic culinary needs. Excellent customer service is an additional perk.

Worse un-hygienic place and staff does not wvwn care . Today we were given spoiled potatoes(masala) in masala dosa after waiting for 30 mins. Spoiled smelly peanut chutney and there is no responsible person/owner to leave feedback. This place needs to be reported to the authorities. Pregnant women and children can be affected due to unhygienic condition. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

I was very surprised having to find a metal string inside of my food, goat chettinadu. I would someone to take action because it's life threatening for anyone ---07/18 I’ve been a returning customer at India Market MN for a while now, but I’ve reached a point where I feel obligated to share my repeated unpleasant experiences. This is not just a one-off issue — it’s a pattern that has become unacceptable. Today, I ordered an onion samosa, and to my disappointment, it was filled with frozen corn that had a rotten smell and stale taste. When I brought it to their attention, the way the staff treated me as a customer was extremely dismissive and unprofessional. This wasn’t just about the food — it was about the lack of basic customer courtesy. Unfortunately, this isn’t my first bad experience here: 1. I once found a metal string in the Mutton Chettinadu, a serious food safety hazard. 2. On a separate visit, the chef (originally from Goa) served Mutton Chettinadu with white cream, claiming it to be authentic South Indian — which it absolutely is not. 3. And now, serving spoiled food without any accountability or willingness to make it right. I’m not asking for free food — I expect what I pay for: safe, fresh, and authentic meals. As paying customers, we deserve better quality and above all, respect. I sincerely hope the management takes these concerns seriously and improves their food quality and customer service. Until then, I cannot recommend this place in good conscience.
