I must say... I love this place and its mixture of the market, food court, claw machine, and hot pot! What an incredible combination store! Asia Mall is a smaller version of being a mall. It is an officially excellent place where everybody has a family day and friends hang out to visit upon this place. My friend and I went there as the first time in early September, I've never thought this is actually a good place to shop at the market and stopped by food court. 1. Food Court - So, not too busy on Sunday, but it's still good timing to order food for myself. I found an interesting food menu that was actually a good deal. 2. Claw Machines - Yes, there's a claw machines and my favorite plushie ones before. But some coin machine didn't work and it needs to fixed sooner. 3. Food Market - Similar to other asian markets, I look around food supplies that are exactly what people want for their home cook meals. 4. Hot Pot - On 2nd floor, there was a hot pot next to the claw machines. I take a sneak peek, and yes, it is! 👍 5. Overall - I'll give it a credit score 7.8 out of 10 for Asia Mall because it's the atmosphere area was a bit smaller than Northtown Mall. Lastly, it's a small store that isn't as busy as usual than other stores in the other mall. Give it your choice to visit.
I don't recommend supporting this establishment. Don't come here unless you want to be followed and accused of shoplifting. This place is a tourist trap and not worth the hype coming from an Asian. It is mainly catered to white people. There are way better authentic Asian restaurants in the surrounding area. Also there are better options if you're looking for blind boxes/trinkets that don't upcharge. If you're looking for alternatives: Asian Grocery Stores- Asian Direct Oriental Market, Sun Foods, Saigon Asian Food Market Pho/Vietnamese Food- Trieu Chau Restaurant, Quang Restaurant, Pho Tau Bay, I WOK Pho Banh Mi- Lu's Sandwiches, D's Banh Mi, Mi Sant Banh Mi Boba- Pink Tea, Mu Mu Tea Chinese Food- Meet Up Noodle, Yangtze Restaurant, Mandarin Kitchen Sushi- Hikari Hand Roll Bar, AMA Sushi Blind Boxes/Trinkets- Miniso, Patina, Mischief Toy Store, Kinoko Kids, Daiso
I’ve been to this mall plenty of times but never remembered to take any pictures until today (even though they turned out kind of bad). The mall has a few small restaurants and a big grocery store on the first floor, it even has a bakery. I can usually find whatever I need here, though some things can be a bit pricey, probably because they’re imported. If you’re driving, there’s a parking garage underneath the building, it’s super convenient, especially in the winter.
Pretty crazy spot! There’s a huge selection of restaurants and a small grocery store on the main level, and while it does have a little bit of a tourist trap vibe, the food and service were still quite good. It was a bit overwhelming, but that also might’ve just been me
This mall is so fun! We pass through fairly often, and this year we attended the Lunar New Year celebrations. Highly recommended!
My 10 year old LOVED this place! She spent so much of her Christmas money here. She started downstairs at the little vendor and found d so many cute little knick snacks. Then we went upstairs for Boba and Korean hot dogs. She LOVED the nutella fish at the Korean hot dog place. Then she spent some time at the the claw machine area. She won NOTHING, but had a blast haha. Then she found a store with a million Cinnamoroll things, where she spent a majority of her money on those million Cinnamoroll things. Then we went downstairs to the bakery, before headed to the grocery store where she stocked up on candies, snacks, and sodas to bring back to Missouri to all of her friends. The Asia Mall was definitely a top 5 of her Christmad trip to Minnesota. She cannot wait to go back!
My son took me to the Asian Mall for a comparison to mine in Florida. It is smaller than the one I shop at but it has a nice variety of items. I was impressed with abundance of Ramon Noodles and soda selection. The double level with restaurants on the top level is a great idea. I am always hungry after shopping. There’s a little gift store with different trinkets. The employees that we interacted with seemed very friendly.
