Miniso

Very cute store in the mall, but its very small and super pricey. They have lots of fun stuff like cats, stranger things, and zootopia. I just dont like how expensive everything is, even with 15% off for black Friday.

Happened to be visiting Virginia Beach for my birthday from another state and was excited to stop by just to be extremely disappointed with the customer service. The item I was wanting to get was yet to be put on display but was on a cart next to the stand, my husband asked the guy that was working there if they had any of those on display to grab. The guy says, "I haven’t put them on display yet…", almost as if it was coming out of his paycheck to break the seal hand us a box. Very dry, very bland. Beside the point, I continue to scan the store for alternate box since he was gate keeping. Clearly it bothered the girl at the register and the guy who was putting things up because they were talking about it and how "annoying it was". We continued to get other items and just picked a different blind box, checked out and left. When heading back to the parking lot we saw that he put the blind box that we had just asked for originally. Long story short, my husband went back and exchanged it for the one we originally went for. Same guy did the exchange and had an attitude. So unfortunate for the company, seeing that all the reviews are regarding the customer service. People shop for the experience as well as the items 🙂 I do wanna shout out the Hispanic or Asian young lady, she was all good vibes. Miniso, please do something.

Poor customer service. We were there to get the birthday blind box, and the cashier was very rude. The price tag was placed incorrectly; it was $30 when the box was scanned, but on the display shelf, it was $25. My boyfriend was just asking a simple question because he saw it was $25 on the shelf. We were still willing to pay the $5 difference, but we just wanted to make sure that the price tag was wrong on the shelf. The cashier shut us up right away, didn't let my boyfriend finish a sentence, and said, "I'm telling you I know the price." We walked out pretty upset. This place had more blind box options; that is the only reason we stopped by. If not, we would never be coming back.

I'm very happy there is a Minoso in Hampton Roads! There is so much to see in this shop.

I love Miniso but not this location. The employees SUCK. They do not greet you nor do they act like they want to be there. The guy (girl?) working the register this past weekend did not say anything to us except for the total and if I wanted to pay an extra $0.20 for a bag in a pissed off tone. Did not even ask if I was a rewards member so I can get my points lol it was not worth it. Won't be coming back unless I really feel like it.

*Update* Lost stars because store closed BEFORE 5:30 when the mall closes at 6pm on Sundays. 😡 Tons of stuff!

went today with my bestie and we had such a nice time! wish they had more pompompurin merch, hopefully with him winning the popularity poll i’ll see more of my king 🫶🏽
