We live nearby and shop here all the time. It’s almost certainly the worst Whole Foods I’ve ever been to, but it’s still a Whole Foods, and they’ve made some improvements in the years we’ve been shopping here (replaced the bin-style freezers with actual freezers, added a ton of self-checkout spots so you almost never have to wait in line, especially if you’re willing to go upstairs to the self-checkout by the main entrance that hardly anyone uses). Restocking can be hit and miss, there’s no actual meat/fish counter, and the produce selection/quality is often underwhelming. I often have better luck with produce at the much smaller Food Garden Market down 4th Ave. Can’t really recommend it, but I’ll probably keep shopping here for the convenience.

Super fresh and convenient. I went to the fresh food bar and selected Brussel Sprouts, Beets with Avocado, Coleslaw and Broccoli. Everything was great. Able to pack your portion. Price is based on weight so be careful with the heavy foods. Place can get packed however it goes fast.

The main entrance doors have been broken and non functional for days and the alternate entrance only has one functional door. Not just inconvenient but a huge FIRE HAZARD! Please repair!

It's a good shopping experience. It's the place to be if you're looking for healthy food. The prices are on the high end. When you walk in the supermarket is downstairs. You have to take the escalators down and you'll walk straight into the fruits and vegetables section. The checkout is quick now there's a self checkout. It's kinda small for a whole foods inside of the residential building 300 Ashland Place. Has everything all the other Whole Foods have. A small hot food section with pizza and soup. Frozen foods and refrigerators a lot and accepts online order pickups and an Amazon Prime order returns and a vegan hamburger right next to the sliding doors at the Flatbush Avenue entrance. Located down the block from Barclays Center and Apple Store, Also across from BAM. A new Mocada museum new location and BPL library branch opening soon upstairs in the building in beautiful Fort Greene Brooklyn with plenty of public transportation buses and Subway lines

Sadly had to come to this location since my truck is under snow and ice. Really disappointing. Very tight space, items all on top of each other. Yet couldn't find 99% of the things I needed. And hate those fairy shopping carts. Need to get regular carts. Perhaps they should turn that block back into the parking lot it was back in the day.

Disappointing experience at this location. There is no fresh meat counter here, only pre-packaged meats, unlike other Whole Foods stores where staff can assist with cutting and selection. The produce quality was also poor. The blackberries I bought looked fine on top, but the bottom layer was moldy when I opened them at home. I had already carefully picked through the options, which made this especially frustrating. On top of that, the refund process was surprisingly complicated and time-consuming, resulting in a very poor customer experience. This review is meant as a friendly warning to others. I could have chosen not to leave a review and let you find out the hard way, but I’m sharing this so people can avoid a disappointing experience.

The customer service at Whole Foods is terrible. I called three times and sent an email, but to no avail. They are incompetent and don't care about their customers who suffer from the mistakes of their cashiers, as in my case, when a cashier charged me for a product that wasn't in my basket, namely Siberian caviar $69.99 I didn't buy it, and I haven't been able to get my money back for two weeks.
