The shopkeeper was extremely rude, blaming the customer for their own desire to control the situation. What should have been a quick "buy, pay, and exit" turned into an unexpected vibe check I did not ask for. If you want better prices and less friction, head to the bigger Patel Brothers in Queens. For example, what cost me $18.50 here—two 8-packs of Maggi, chunky chat masala and a big bottle of hot & sweet ketchup—would cost $16 at the Queens location. Yes, it’s a bit far for Brooklyn and Staten Island residents, but honestly: choosing a budget-friendly, hassle-free grocery experience is far more edible than paying extra for a rude, overpriced, and unhealthy interaction at this store.

If you're looking for a grocery store for Indian items then this is it . They have a really good variety of items ,and I was able to find almost all the ingredients I needed. Would definitely recommend this if you're looking for Indian things to buy in Bayridge,it is especially great for buying ingredients for Indian dishes. (Masala , spices ,they have it all )

I really had a good meal of MTR brand thanks to this nice store in Brooklyn. They also had 500g Amul brand Shrikhand, and there items in store looked fresh and I plan to return for more purchases.

Great store for quick Indian grocery. Easy to access by local bus or R train. So conveniently located. To the point inventory from fresh vegetables to snack to frozen entrées they have everything reasonably priced. The owners are kind and very helpful.

The shopkeepers are super friendly so make sure you don't forget to greet. To reach by subway, get down at 53rd Street station.

An excellent shopping destination for all your imported spices and ingredients for the foods of India. The staff is quite knowledgeable and helpful too. The store is not huge but stocked and organized quite well. I have visited a few times and have always been able to purchase what I was hoping for. I recommend trusting the proprietor as he can guide you in the right direction.
