Mr. Lime Fruit & Vegetables

I shop here every week, and the service used to be fine — other cashiers always helped me bag my items without any issue. But recently, one female cashier has been consistently rude. Today she refused to help bag my items unless I bought a new bag "right now," even though I was using a reusable bag I originally purchased from this store. The store wasn’t busy at all, and her attitude felt unnecessary and unprofessional. It’s disappointing because the other staff have always been helpful, but this cashier’s behavior really brings down the experience for regular customers.

Stopped by Mr. Lime and had a great experience for a corner store. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and it seems like they have lots of little essentials — perfect for when I forget items on our delivery order (which happens every week!). Definitely a convenient neighborhood spot worth stopping into.

Mr. Lime has some of the most competitive prices on produce in Park Slope, particularly the products outside the store, which sometimes include organic produce! Freshness can sometimes be a real issue (I find a lot of mold and rotten produce and have accidentally bought rotten food without noticing at the store). Lines can sometimes be very long. However, overall, I highly recommend the place to anyone interested in saving some money on fruits and vegetables. I'm a regular.

Mr lime has always good product no doubt about it. All the cashier work hard there specially female cashier. As they have to stay in one place at least 10 hrs in a day . I saw everyone genuinely do their best . Some of customers they are so rude, even they don’t know how to talk cashier.they come to counter and throw their bag even they don’t say please pack my bag.some people say I have bag and give it to the cashier. Whole day at least 1000 customers come in this store.so think about it. Try to be nice with everybody. Every one have their own respect. All the cashier always try to pack customers bag.if any customer rude so no one gonna give you respect. All the cashier came from good families and they know how to respect . Don’t think that cashier is your servant.

I am a big fan of Mr Lime. It serves my needs quite well. Good fruits and vegetables at good prices. And very happy about the $1 bottles of seltzer. The stock is amazingly vast - from candles to black sesame seeds. I hope that one day I might get to meet the mysterious Mr. Lime himself !

Unbelievably ripe and delicious Del Monte brand cantaloupe for one dollar for the whole thing. This place beats some of the fruit and veggie stands.

The prices out front are unbeatable, but like every park slope store prices go up as you go in. They are 24/7 so you also pay for convenience. But all the food is good relatively fresh and they have a good beer/cider selection
