Dr. Timothy G. Abrahamson, MD

I will not be returning to this practice. Dr. Abrahamson entered the room seemingly having never looked at my chart. He abruptly had me lift my shirt, checking for spots I’m guessing, when I was referred there for a follow up to a visible cyst on my neck. During my consultation and removal procedure, I was given very little information about what was or will be happening. It felt like the doctor and nurse were talking to each other but not me. Both visits with this doctor felt rushed and impersonal. I expressed concern for the aesthetic of the procedure as it was in a highly noticeable place on my neck and not a medically urgent procedure, but the incision was much larger and jagged than I was led to believe it would be. The office staff was welcoming and helpful, but I prefer to be informed and comfortable so I will be seeking a different provider elsewhere for future needs.

This is an all-star office. Dr. Abrahamson is by far the most competent, knowledgeable and helpful dermatologist I’ve ever been to. He is a good listener and a great teacher/educator. He exceeded all my expectations today. He provided me with hope and informed me of solutions that no other doctor, dermatologist or ophthalmologist had suggested. Everyone from the front desk to his nurse Becky was extremely pleasant and helpful. Becky seemed especially caring and competent.

I loved my experience here! I had a mole on my back that was annoying and I wanted to have it looked at. I debated if I should make the appointment or not. I am SO GLAD I went! Dr. Abrahamson was very thorough and explained everything in great detail. I was only there like 15 minutes and they removed it right there on the spot! It was so quick, easy and painless. I couldn't have had a better experience. I will be sending many of my friends and family to this office!

The employees are probably technically competent but I'm never going back. Bedside manor is horrible. They just tell you to go buy a bunch of over the counter products - why do I have insurance if I'm just getting my 'medicine' over the counter? The doctors don't listen to you and also talk over you. I never really got the feeling they cared if their prescribed treatment worked for me or not and I had been a loyal patient for 4-5 years.

I have gone to Dr. Abrahamson for around 10 years. From minor bumps to more serious issues, he has always been knowledgeable, professional, and caring. His staff, from reception to nurses, have been kind and professional as well. I've had family members that have gone to Dr. A as well, and all have had good experiences.

I’m surprised by the number of negative reviews based on my personal experience. I actually saw Dr. A when I was in high school and remember him being thorough and kind. Side note: make sure your nail technicians clean their tools between clients. My mom went recently concerning a allergic reaction and was given comprehension care. I went back today after twenty-ish years and received excellent care. Take the negative reviews with a grain of salt.

Dr. Abrahamson is very kind, personable, professional and very thorough. He readily answers all your questions. I highly recommend him!!
