Southside Dermatology and Skin Cancer Surgery - Tulsa

My doctor sent in the referral and it took over a month (Aug 9th-sept 24th) to hear from them. When they did call me to schedule, I missed the call. After calling them for 3 days and leaving messages I finally heard back from someone. They asked me if this was a referral and I said yes, so they transferred me to the referral department. The woman I talked to was so incredibly hateful and rude. I don't even want to go to my appointment. I will be calling tomorrow to cancel it. And I will be asking my doctor to send a referral to another place because I don't want to go here now. She asked me if I wanted to go to the Tulsa or the broken arrow or a different location. I told her I would prefer Tulsa. The next available opening was December 15th. For reference, it is September 24th now. So I would have to wait almost 3 months. I said well maybe I should consider a different location if they can get me in sooner. She was incredibly rude and said that I would need to speak to those other locations to make that appointment. I told her I assumed since she asked me which location I wanted, that she could set the appointment for that location if I wanted. She was very rude but I went ahead and set the appointment. She said do you have any more questions before I let you go? No thank you, no have a good day, no customer service what so ever. Like I had done something wrong or inconvenienced her. Like I said, I will be canceling this appointment and I will not be giving this place my business. There's no reason for her to treat me that way.

I just rescheduled my appointment that was already 3 months out from my original appointment when I received my referral. Instead of November it is now in December. The rescheduling was easier than scheduling the original appointment. Both experiences with the customer service over the phone have been below one star. Not friendly or welcoming at all. The tones of the individuals came across as impatient. Really hoping the in person service is better, will update after appointment.

So Side Dermatology is absolutely amazing? They have treated me with a great attitude and professional results! They truly put my mind at ease and make me feel comfortable, I have a lot of skin issues including skin cancer and they have really helped me to not be horrified as skin cancer is a very scary subject, But the So Side Dermatology Doctors and nurses have made my experiences bearable and hopefully eventually they will get me all healed up 🙏

Southside Dermatology is amazing! Having Mohs surgery is a little scary, but the team made it such a positive experience from start to finish. Everyone from the receptionist to the assistants to Dr. Fisher—was so kind, friendly, and supportive. Dr. Fisher explained the entire process, answered all my questions, and talked me through each step along the way. His bedside manner is truly exceptional. Lindsey and Tabitha kept everything upbeat and made sure I was completely comfortable. I left feeling well cared for and genuinely blessed. Highly recommend Southside Dermatology!

I had Mohs surgery on my ear. Everything was explained on procedure. The Doctor and Nurse were both awesome making sure I had no pain during procedure and that I knew what was going on. I would recommend Southside Dermatology as a great place who cares for their patients and a positive experience.

The staff at Southside Dermatology are quick, competent and helpful. Dr. Fischer is always knowledgeable, kind, thorough, respectful and fast. Exactly what I want when having skin checks. So thankful to have found this team!

They are so professional but yet fun to deal with!!! They explain each thing they are doing to you as they do it and make sure you have no questions! I am very please to have them. They really care about their patients!
