Dr. Murakawa is terrible! He doesn't listen, doesn't answer questions, doesn't explain diagnosis or treatments, he doesn't give you agency to make decisions about your own health, and he blames his mistakes on his (young female) staff. I wonder if he treats all his patients like this or just his female patients? Dr. M barely talked to me before prescribing me medication. He kept trying to leave the room while I was still talking to him. I asked him a question, he shrugged, and walked away without answering me! I had serious side effects from the medication he prescribed. He told me to keep taking the medicine because the side effects will go away. After 2 more weeks on the medication I was bedridden and almost hospitalized from side effects. I went to see him about it, the first thing he said was "You don't have to tell me what is going on". He decided I was dehydrated. He was too preoccupied with himself to notice I had a water bottle with me! I told him that the Mayo Clinic website says these symptoms are a severe reaction to the med. He told me "Everything is a side effect" and that it wasn't from the medication. And told me I could do "Whatever I wanted." WHAT?!?! I consulted another specialist. They were shocked. They told me to immediately spot the medication because I was on the verge of having a heart attack (even though I am young and healthy). If you don't pay attention to your patients, listen to them, or even stay in the room during the appointment YOU SHOULDN'T CONSIDER YOURSELF A DOCTOR!

I was very pleased with Dr. Murakawa. He was very friendly, explained all that he was doing. The staff was outstanding!! They all were very friendly willing to answer any questions. I would recommend this office highly. If I could give 10 stars, I would. I would also like to thank Ruth for the blanket, I was so cold and she offered me a blanket!! She gets 10 stars as well!

I asked him a question, he shrugged and walked away without answering me! I ended up having a life threatening reaction to the medication he prescribed. When I say him about it, he didn't even care. And told me I could do what I wanted about it! If you don't pay attention to your patients, listen to them, or even stay in the room during the appointment YOU SHOULDN'T CONSIDER YOURSELF A DOCTOR!

So I had to get a wart removed, it ended up costing $600 for 2 short visits, that's too much money. The actual doctor did not do any of the procedure, which is not cool I want his technical expertise. Also, I won't name any names but the person who is in charge of the bill collecting is horrible, terrible manners and very rude. I'm never going back to this place again. Find another place that is more personable. From the front desk to the doctors it's all in shadows...

I’ve been going to this office for a few years now and would highly recommend it to anyone. The staff is friendly, professional, and helpful, and I never have to wait long. The office itself is clean and organized. Alexandria has been helping me during my visits since the beginning, and I couldn’t speak highly enough about her. I can tell she genuinely cares about me and my individual treatment plan, and she is passionate about what she does. She cares about giving me the right treatment and advice instead of just trying to sell me skin products or shorten the visit, and my skin has greatly improved with her help!

Waited for 45 minutes in the exam room for Dr. Murakawa to do a full body check for odd looking moles. He did not even spend 30 seconds checking my full body over. When I asked him about 2 specific moles, he laughed and said "trust me I checked you over and you are good." Not feeling confident in this feedback I scheduled an appointment at another dermatologist in the area and I had 5 moles removed, 2 of which came back as pre-cancerous and I had to have clean margins. Luckily I got a second opinion. Do not use this doctor. Similar outcome happened for my father who no longer goes here either.

My husband had a skin cancer removal ( Mohs's for a BCC ) . Let me tell you... Dr Murakawa is THE BEST!! Not only is he an expert at what he does ( you can't even tell my husband had the surgery,and very very minimal scarring ) but his outgoing, smiling personality made his experience even better. Medical staff is friendly and very knowledgeable as well as the reception department. Office is clean and very inviting. Highly recommend
