In January 2026, I visited Dr. Rodriguez for my six-month skin checkup and was thoroughly impressed by her meticulous approach. As a board-certified professional, she provided me with a clear and comprehensive explanation of the procedures. Her compassionate, gentle, and knowledgeable demeanor made me feel at ease throughout the appointment. The office itself is a state-of-the-art facility with minimal wait times, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience. The staff is friendly and supportive, and scheduling follow-up appointments is easy and made to fit your schedule. I highly recommend Dr. Rodriguez to anyone seeking an accurate diagnosis and exceptional treatment.

Dr Arfa is amazing. He is a wonderful physician, and the staff is top-notch. He is very compassionate and great at what he does. He even called me to check on me after my procedures. I am so glad I found him and Austin Skin!!

I highly recommend Austin Skin Physicians. I go to the San Marcos location and have been very impressed with Dr. Rodriguez Homs. She provides a very thorough exam and explains the things she finds as well as the procedures she will perform. The entire staff is very friendly and professional.

Dr. Arffa was wonderful. He helped me to relax and to stay calm during the surgery. He was also very clear about wound care afterwards. The entire staff was helpful and friendly.

I really like the staff and Dr. Rodriguez. They did a great job with my son. I've also brought my daughter for her skin and always have a good experience (friendly staff, short wait). There are issues with billing though. I have no health insurance so I pay out of pocket. They don't let you know what it's going to cost until you check out. They told me they were going to send labs, like it was routine. I assumed it was included but found out it wasn't, which they didn't tell me. They didn't try to fix it at first, like oh well we already sent the labs. The labs are estimated to be over $100! (For 1 tiny wart!!!) Since when do warts need labs?! Felt taken advantage of since the visit was already $180! For ONE wart. They reached out to me very quickly and are trying to fix the issue, which I really appreciate. I hope they learn to be more up front about what they charge, whats included and what is extra regarding self pay.

Everyone is so kind at the front desk as well as in the treatment rooms. The Dr. is very personal and carries on a conversation as if he’s known you for a while. Everyone is professional as well. You always feel very comfortable and in good hands. Thanks to everyone for your kindness.

It is always a pleasant surprise to go to a new physician and find that everyone who works there is friendly, efficient and knowledgeable! From Dr.Rodriguez to her assistant Tracy to office staff it was a lovely experience. San Marcos is lucky to have Austin Skin!
