Leisa Hodges, DO, FAOCD, FAAD

If I could give more I would. I originally went to Leísa because I had a cyst. Thank god it was something very superficial. Dr Leisa did a great job I was super happy. Recently I took my dad who is over 75 to have several moles looked at.she was super sweet with him, VERY patient, had them removed on the same visit. Super professional. What stole my heart away about Dr Hodges is how she had my dad’s interest at heart since he only has Medicare. She made sure he wasn’t charged an arm and a leg for the procedure. This was super sweet on her part I’m super thankful not every doctor cares about stuff like that and I’m super grateful. Thank you Dr. Hodges!!

Everyone was very nice and helpful. Getting signed in and completing the paperwork was fast and painless. I think I was seen within 10 minutes of arriving. The nurse took time to make sure I understood how the visit was going to go and she talked to me throughout my appointment. The doctor was very nice and sympathetic to my situation. Overall I had a great experience, it felt great to finally get a correct diagnosis and treatment. I will definitely come back and refer to my friends. Thanks for everything!!! Nichol Slay

Updated - I've reconsidered - not a fan. Fast, efficient, and I'm not a patient that needs much hand holding. Dr Hodges seems somewhat engaged but also down to business. She immediately assessed the situation and stated an action plan. From there after treatment she explained next steps...in and out less than 15 mins. Edit - not sure this a good thing. Only critique...didn't get heads up on getting poked with the numbing medicine. No.."little pinch" or slight sting...no warning. I didn't expect it when it came...it stung a little...fortunately I didn't move. It was early so I'll give some grace. - Edit - whole family goes or went here and she' just goes through the motions. There are other dermatologists in the area that are more experienced and overall more well rounded.

Every appointment I have with Dr. Hodges is one where I feel I am treated with respect. Dr. Hodges has been my dermatologist since early 2020. Her office staff is efficient and pleasant to deal with. Dr. Hodges has always had the appropriate knowledge to treat the various acne problems. Her attitude towards patients is one of respect and concern. I have never had a bad experience . She truly appears to be a very competent Dermatologist.

Dr. Hodges did a thorough exam. I was in for annual mole check and she took her time and completed a detailed exam. Other dermatologists that I have seen have rushed through as I felt they were much more interested if I wanted any cosmetic treatment. She has a great bedside manner and I was very comfortable with her.

Dr. Hodges and staff are very friendly and thorough. They make sure you are comfortable with the exam from start to finish. My prescription was called in and ready for pickup within 30 minutes of leaving their office.

I am so happy that Dr. Hodges is my dermatologist! She is very thorough and informative. I am overweight and she always makes me feel very comfortable when doing my annual skin exam. Anytime she finds any kind of issue, she takes care of it! Thankfully, all my issues have been minor. I highly recommend Dr. Hodges!
