Dr. Pretzlaff is amazing! The office is clean, the staff is on time and friendly. Dr. Pretzlaff takes the time to discuss concerns and educate you on all things dermatology. Cannot recommend more!
I called this clinic a few weeks ago and asked if they can treat hyperhidrosis with Botox injections for my face and neck, the person on the phone said yes. Found out during my appointment that they don’t. There’s one doctor who treated hyperhidrosis of the armpit on one patient one time. The doctor I saw was kind, but I was misinformed and wasted another copay and money is tight. This was the sole reason why I made an appointment here. They don’t treat hyperhidrosis, only cosmetic botox.
Do not come here if you interested in getting the best care - no matter the issue. I should have looked at the reviews more carefully before I visited. I came a few months ago for constant itching on my body and scalp, as well as a spot on my forehead. Dr. Hodges spent literally 2 minutes with me and barely looked at my scalp before she diagnosed me with a mild form of scalp psoriasis. I also have rashes on my back which she didn't look at. She wrote me a prescription for a medicated shampoo and a foam to apply to my skin and suggested losing weight to control flare ups. I am not overweight nor was I at the time of the visit. She sent me on my way and didn't address the spot on my forehead which itched (and itches constantly). I made a follow up appointment and decided to try what she prescribed. When I returned to let her know what she gave me didn't clear up my issue- it only masked the symptoms (it would get better and come back again) she discarded me once again. She suggested over the counter options to control the itching and when I inquired about an oral medication as I had been suffering for months she blew me off and said there are patients much worse off than me and she wouldn't consider an oral medication for me at this time. Total time spent on the 2nd visit was probably 2-3 minutes. Fast forward 2 months and I am out of the foam and have bought over the counter shampoos and call to ask to speak with another doctor at the practice. I called the main number at 3:30 on a Tuesday and no one has called me back over 24 hours later. DO NOT go to this practice if you are seeking care - believe the reviews. You will be discarded if your skin does not look like a dragon. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Worse experience with a doctor - seriously take interest in what your patients are communicating to you and actually care.
I had a very disappointing experience at this office. From the moment I arrived, the environment felt unwelcoming, and the overall professionalism of the staff was lacking. I encountered unfair treatment and a sense of discrimination that made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Additionally, the office manager, Yolanda "Jo" Stewart, did not represent the level of professionalism expected in this industry. Her approach was rude and unprofessional, which only added to the negative experience. In a field where patient care and comfort should be a priority, this office fell far below expectations. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and implements necessary changes to create a more inclusive, professional, and welcoming environment for all patients.
I initially called the office to inquire if I could make an appointment without a referral. I was able to, front desk staff was very helpful and Dr. Pretzlaf has been treating my psoriasis for almost a year now. She is always kind and welcoming and answers the list of questions I always have lol she has also been helpful with other concerns I might have. I absolutely recommend
Had a quick appointment with Dr. Hodges today and it went great. The staff was super friendly, I didn’t have to wait long, and Dr. Hodges was clear, helpful, and easy to talk to. Fast, smooth visit—definitely recommend!
Fast and efficient service. Front desk team was professional. Nursing staff was great, asking questions and getting through their part of the questionnaire quickly while answering questions they could. Dr. Pretzlaff was fantastic. She addressed each of my concerns in easy to understand concepts without talking down to me. She set expectations about medications as well as clearly outlined not only immediate treatment options, but "next steps" as well. As one concerned was addressed, she encouraged additional questions / concerns - with kindness and patience. She really took the time to make sure that my concerns were addressed and that I left understanding my treatment and the process going forward.
