The clinical staff were all very nice and knowledgeable and i have no complaints with them. However, the front desk staff here were very unwilling to be helpful at all. I was scheduled wrong by someone on their end, but because i didn’t speak with someone "directly in the office" (though i called the only phone number associated with their office), they would not honor the appointment and tried to turn me away with my 2 year old child after i told them i drove an hour to be there. I was told that there was nothing else available until next month and they will not see me today. I was forced to call back the number from before (i guess a call center?) to receive any help with my situation, rather than people sitting right in front of me who were just as capable to help me. When i called the number i was told that i was in fact put in a different time slot than i was told, but the time slot that i wanted, and was currently there for, WAS OPEN. So the women at the front desk must have seen that spot that i said i was there for was open but lied to me and said there was nothing they can do. Thankfully the woman on the phone put me down on that spot, so i was able to come back in and be seen. But if it was up to them they would have left the empty spot and had me drive an hour back home without having been seen. Ive worked front desk jobs in medical practices and this to me is unacceptable and i would never treat a patient the way i was treated today.
I absolutely love this crew! Walking into this small office felt like stepping into a family reunion—except, you know, without the awkward small talk and mystery casseroles. I got to chat with Shanesha, Bruce, Cintia, Ieisha, and Todd, and let me tell you, this team is tight-knit—like a group text that actually enjoys texting each other. They work together like a well-oiled machine, handling everything smoothly while still cracking jokes and having a great time. And the front desk? A breath of fresh air! Unlike some places where getting three words out of the staff feels like pulling teeth, these ladies are friendly, talkative, and actually seem happy to be there. Bottom line—I’m officially making this my go-to spot for all my skin needs. See you all next time (whether you like it or not)!
Fantastic staff, a comfortable atmosphere, and quality service. During my first visit, I felt nervous and apprehensive, as I have often been left with questions or felt inadequately informed in other settings. However, the communication from Dr Weis and the staff here was exceptional. The customer service is truly a standout feature that encourages me to return. Shanesha B, in particular, consistently excels in patient care. She is informative, reassuring, and thorough. I feel at ease in their care. Nisha K. assisted with stitch removal and bandages.. Choosing UNC Dermatology is certainly a wise decision.
Had a great first experience here, no issues on my end and fast service. Todd was helpful, and answered the questions I had while I was there. Looking forward to coming again.
Absolutely the worst office staff. The lady on the phone said " we aren't taking any new patients and you're considered new since it's been 3 years." Even though the Doctor said to only come back if the problem shows up again. I waited, the problem is back, they don't care. I went to my PCP and got a new referral, they still will not see me. They were the ones that told me to return and now they don't care. I work in healthcare and can tell you that this has to be the worst experience that I have ever dealt with. When I asked what I need to do to get seen , she said go to my PCP. Is that a joke? My PCP is even wondering what is going on with them!
Received excellent care and service with Dr. V, who left a few months ago.. Can no longer get appointments, unless it’s a few months out and then received a text that my appointment needed to be rescheduled, and was given a date 2 months away. Customer care is no longer a priority at this location. Will not return.
Just called to make an appointment as a new patient. The receptionist couldn’t care less to be talking to a potential client. "We’re not accepting new patients right now?" I prompt and ask why? And her response is "mhm I don’t know" so then I further question when will you be accepting new patients…. "ummm maybe 6-8 months but I’m not sure." She hurried to hang me up and I said wow great service and she proceeded to giggle. I said this because I went into the call with a biased view based on the reviews on google and well the employee lived up to exactly every negative review. I was hoping to actually receive some beneficial information and I ultimately need to see a doctor as soon as possible, but alas I’m met with lackluster responses and no intent to help.
