I went in for a severe skin condition that had never been properly treated by any other practice. I was seen by Stephanie, who is absolutely amazing. Every member of the staff was friendly, professional, and attentive. Most importantly, they treated me with genuine care, and I am now in the process of healing thanks to Southern Dermatology. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking top-notch dermatologic care.

Horrible experience. I will not be going back. The doctor I saw removed a mole to have it sent out, but cut so deep that it looked like an eye. The medical assistant was asked to stitch it up with only two stitches—while the doctor left the room. The incision clearly needed more than two stitches, because as soon as I got home, it ripped right open. I was left with an open wound and nothing to do but cover it. I went back to the office multiple times just to get new bandages, and I never saw the doctor again. Fast forward six months later, and the front desk is calling me nonstop saying the doctor wanted me to come back to "remove the rest of the mole." I told them what mole? She already removed the whole thing and more. They apologized and said they would speak with the doctor. No one ever called me back. About three weeks later, someone finally reached out saying the doctor didn't need me to come in after all. I said, "Good, because there’s nothing left to remove. Did she want to remove skin around it?" They said "no." Despite that conversation, I continued getting calls from different people telling me to schedule an appointment to have the rest of the mole removed. Every time I called back, no one could tell me who reached out or why they are calling about an issue already resolved —there were no notes in my chart at all. Extremely frustrating, unorganized, and unprofessional. I felt completely disregarded throughout this entire process. I would not recommend this office.

Came in for a Moe's surgery. Wilmouth did a great job on my face right by my nose in stitches. I came back for a full body scan and while there Chalgrin decided we can take these stitches out on your nose. I truly did not have a problemwith them being on my face until i was told to come back for my stitches to come out. He felt it was fine. 2 days later I decided to finally wash my face and when I got done part of my stitched area was bleeding and came open and pretty sure an inside stitch came with it. Now instead of having hardly any scare i know have a nice nasty mark where it did not close. If the stitches stayed in longer as other doctor suggested my nose scare would barely show. Won't be that way now. Not a happy patient.

I want to say thank you to doctor Madeline Pence and the other staff of the clinic. It was my first time in seven years I saw a dermatologist and I had a lot of things to address. The visit was as long as it needed to be, my entire body was searched for anything I couldn’t notice by myself. I have received the referral to another specialist to get an additional diagnosis and treatment and all medication prescribed for my conditions. Will definitely come back for my annual whole body skin check and recommend this clinic to my friends and family.

Came in for my first appointment for some minor concerns but my overall appointment felt very rushed. I hardly got to touch on any of the concerns I had and instead was prescribed a bunch of medicine that I felt weary about taking considering I was told minimal info about the medicine prescribed. The people were nice but just wish everything didn’t have to feel so rushed.

I saw Shelby, PA, and her assistant, during my first visit. They listened, were personable, gentle, and always concerned about my comfort. Very thorough. 5+ stars

I'm giving a 1 star on my first appointment. I had presented my insurance card but did not have my photo ID on since I was rushing and I didn't drive there. The office wanted to charge me as self pay since I didn't have my ID. I've worked in a medical office for 23 yrs and never have we told a patient that they would be charged as a self pay for not having there ID. I am very disappointed on how this bad this experience was for me and will never refer anyone to this place.
