Waste of time and money. They only have Diode laser—did the $50 intro treatment (normally $275) and felt basically no energy. Zero results. I've done much DPL and M22 before, so I know what effective treatment feels like. Staff was unprofessional, technician rough enough to hurt my bones, and their explanations were laughably basic. Also shady: they charge tip based on the original $275 price, not the $50 promo you actually paid. Bottom line: aggressive marketing and low prices to trap beginners. Skip if you actually want results.
First of all Tommy and Skyler provided an excellent service and both have great personalities. The front staff were nice half the time. Their manager Victoria is a different story, she's not a good fit to be a manager. That's all I have to say about her. Before you consider going to this place PLEASE READ: 1. Don't get swayed by the $75 advertisement on TikTok/Instagram. This place charge you with membership fee, like gym membership. Its $250 and up per month. 2. The monthly payment is based on you're skin conditon. In my case I have melasma and I signed up for laser treatment every 10 days. The treatment is about 10-15 minutes per session. 3. At the end of each session, they always asked me if you want to give gratuity. I only gave twice as I think 10 min treatment doesn't warrant a tip specially if I already paid $250 for total of 30 min session each month. 4. They are strict on the 10 day schedule. You're appointment need to be exactly 10 days. 5. They are strict with your appointment time. If you're 5 minutes late they turn you away. They will not listen to your explanation and doesn't care about your time. 5. PLEASE read the contract before signing for the membership. I had to cancel my membership and they charged me $250 for the following month. I paid $250 from December 10th to January 10th and canceled December 15th. They charge me extra $250 for Jan 10th-Feb 10th even though I canceled Dec 15th. Thats 25 days before the next billing cycle. I did not argue with the extra charge as I was relieved to not go to this place anymore. 6. My melasma did not improve. I understand it's different for every skin type but I did not see an improvement after 6 session. 7. Some of the nurse are responsible for adverstiment on products on sale while they are doing my treatment. One of the nurse keep talking about their special sale during the holiday. I think that take away from my treatment and I feel like the nurse was a bit pushy. A spa place needs to have friendly staff and personable Manager. My experience might be different than some people that have given 5 star to this place but I wanted to share my own. There is a saying: Regrets are always at the end.
I loved the overall experience. Clean and hygienic facility. Helpful staff. First edit- First edit- After their signature facial, I started experiencing extreme dryness and itchiness on my face the very next morning. Forget a glow- it’s been over two weeks, and I’m still trying to hydrate my skin. What’s worse is the complete lack of accountability from the clinic, brushing it off by saying "some people experience dryness." They arranged a call with a nurse, but all she did was try to sell me more products. I feel deeply disappointed and cheated. It’s clear this "first facial offer" is just a tactic to lure clients in and push memberships. I’ve now come across other reviews where people have had similar negative experiences with their services.
Skylar and Tommy have been fantastic in explaining the process and helping me to feel comfortable as a first-timer! I’ve worked with them both twice at this point and it’s been great!
The attitude of the front-line staff at Skin Laundry are great, but dealing with Victoria, the manager, has been very disappointing. From the start, I was given conflicting information about the membership (visits, product discounts, and fees), and instead of fixing the mistakes, Victoria hid behind "policy" and refused to make it right. As a customer, it feels like I’m paying for management’s errors, which is unacceptable. The staff themselves are wonderful, but Victoria’s unwillingness to take responsibility or provide a fair solution has made the overall experience frustrating.
The team here is great, very responsive and helpful! I’ve had a membership here for a few months now and I love it.
Absolutely horrible experience with appointments. I buy a package where I get 2 power treatments a month , front desk misses booking one of my appointments, then says there are no appointments for more than 2 weeks , so I am looking at paying an entire months subscription for nothing. And to top it all , the customer service is snarky and rude
