Dr Mendez had to cut me 3 times on Monday February 16 and I had to wait 6 1/2 hours for the test results! It was overwhelming to say the least! My appointment was at 10 am and I never left his office until 6:40 pm! I was at his office for 8 1/2 hours! It was ridiculous! I was exhausted when I left there! He did Great Work on me! He’s a very good Dr! I trust him completely! I just wish I didn’t have to wait so long for the test results! He referred me to Dr Levine a plastic surgeon who worked on me for 20 minutes on Tuesday February 17! I get the stitches out tomorrow Tuesday February 24! Thank goodness! I can’t wait!

Dr. Mendez and the entire team were excellent. The visit was efficient, professional, and caring. New patient to this office came in for my appointment time 3:10pm, the office was full and the chattering among some patients was like "I been here 4 hours" =( I was hoping that was not gonna be my case. But I was wrong after an hour waiting; I got up and saw the front desk. I asked how much longer would it be?They couldn’t give me a straight answer saying "we are sorry sometimes the doctor does procedures that take longer" I asked again is it gonna be half an hour, or an hour? They said they didn’t know. I told them if you’ll see me within an hour I’ll stay, but if not I have to go. They still couldn’t give me an answer, and after hearing people were waiting for four hours I decided to get a refund and leave. If you know your doctor is going to do procedures in the office, then you should book your appointments accordingly not so close to each other so you don’t waste people time. We value our time, and you should value your patient’s time. I don’t have time to waste, and your practice is not the only one in Miami. I’ll go somewhere where they value of my time. As per other reviews it seems the overbooking appointment and wait times is normal for this place.

Dr. Mendez always takes the time necessary to attend to his patients. I never feel like he is in a hurry to move on. His staff are courteous and helpful, too. I have been very happy with my experience at the dermatology office.
