The nurses and doctors in the labor and delivery unit are the best. I felt so cared for during both of my deliveries. If you are having a baby deliver here. You will not be disappointed. I will never forget the care I received from the wonderful nurses and doctors. They have left a long lasting impression on my heart. 💜
I gave birth in this hospital in August 2025. We had an exceptional care from the doctors and nurses. Room was cleaned everyday and the food was very good with a lot of options. Nurses - Both Sarah’s, Jessica, Olivia, Kim, Lisa, Tricia took very good care of me and my baby. They even provided support after discharge. Nurse Kim has been helping me whenever I need support and she responded even during late hours. Delivery was smooth and they helped a lot with my lactation and postpartum recovery. They even took care of my baby so that I can get some rest. Their response was instant and never complained. Admission, the actual delivery process and the discharge was smooth and they even sent us home with a huge box of frozen lasagna that lasted for days! Definitely felt like home and I’m glad I chose this hospital for delivering my first baby.
I gave birth to my son here and had a wonderful experience. The nurses and doctors were amazing. So kind, knowledgeable and thoughtful. And the food was good too! No complaints. 100% recommend.
I recently had an MRI at Longmont United Hospital. Gary performed the service. I could not be happier with Gary’s attitude and professional and kind demeanor. If I could give him additional stars I would. I had to charge an internal device before the MRI and there were a series of problems doing that making me run late. (The item to charge the device had to be charged itself. Who knew? It was my first time. Then I couldn’t get it in the belt I had to wear so I actually had to flag down a UPS man who was strong enough to snap it in etc). By the got the internal device charged a lot of time had passed. I was the last appointment of the day and Gary offered to stay late when I called in near tears to explain why I couldn’t make it because it was so close to the appointment time. That wonderful man stayed late if I was still up to coming! He was so nice to me. He really and truly went the extra mile. What an exemplary employee and truly outstanding man. People like Gary make the world a better place.
It was an amazing experience having my procedure done here. It really helps me to get through my PTSD from horrible surgery experience elsewhere. Dr Mensink and her team (Andrea, Lindsey, Maggie, sorry can’t remember everyone’s name) are super awesome. Positive, caring, cheerful and professional. They made me feel at ease and comfortable the whole time, gave me detailed explanation about the procedure before and after. It is wonderful to see medical professionals genuinely care about their work and their patients. I highly recommend them. Also high five to an all-women team!
DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!! Had to get a catheter due to urinary retention. Came here, I stalled with no issue. 12 hours after having the catheter I had to return due to my catheter clogging. They took urinalysis test results, which the PAC attending to me failed to recognize or heed when they returned as abnormal, with warnings of an infection. She instead installed a new catheter and sent me off with Azo, not even alerting me that my urinalysis results were abnormal. No directions going forward either. A week later I had the catheter removed at urgent care in an emergency manner, and it was discovered I have an antibiotic resistant infection. Now, a month after this, I am getting a PICC line installed for long term antibiotics and am hospitalized because that woman failed to do her job correctly, and ignored all of the warning signs. I did report it to the charge nurse who sent the complaint higher up. I haven't heard a peep about this since I called. Nobody has called me back even once, about PA-C Hannah P. Just go to Longs Peak, trust me you'll receive far better, and safer care than here. I will never go here again after this.
This hospital is always fantastic. The nurses, doctors and registration are always super sweet, professional and efficient. I will literally never go anywhere else in Longmont. They took such great care of me today when I came in to get checked out after a scary situation. I can’t thank them enough.
