Rebecca Soine, MD

Dr. Soine is a phenomenal physician. She is caring, compassionate, cautious, knowledgeable and extremely thorough in the care that she provides for her patients. Her staff displays these same qualities and create such a warm and welcoming environment. The new office is beautiful and well equipped in providing a comfortable and peaceful place to experience. We absolutely love Dr. Soine.

This was my initial new patient visit with Dr. Soine. She is a Dermatologist. I appreciated her up front approach to my questions and concerns. She was very professional, informative, which is what I look for in a physician. I appreciate the knowledge that she provided to me. I felt comfortable with her as a provider. I plan to continue to follow up with her for my dermatological care.

This is a long rant but I had to let people know what kind of Dr she is. Dr. Rebecca Soine has the absolute WORST bedside manner! She was my fourth dermatologist to see about the same issue. At that point, I felt so defeated. She was so rude to me. My legs from below my knees to my ankles, my arms from the elbow to finger tips, and my face from right below my nose to my chin, all had sores that never fully healed and sometimes caused staph. I explained to her that the only spots with infection were on the skin that sees sunlight. She then proceeded to tell me that I am causing all of this own my own because I am prescribed ADD (which I was on for years before all of this) I was literally in her office ugly crying begging her to help me, all while trying to reassure her I wasn’t causing it. She did no culture, no biopsy, didn’t get close enough to even see the spots. She just kept telling me she wouldn’t do anything until I stopped causing it. I left there with no hope. It took me a whole year to try again. This would be my fifth dermatologist, and I’m so very thankful for Dr. Erin Boh with Tulane. She wasn’t in the room with me for 3 minutes before pointing out indications of Lupus. She did a biopsy and labs and within a week, I was diagnosed with Lupus and had a treatment plan in place. If I can save just one other person from having to experience what I did with her, this is all worth it. I’d give ZERO stars if I could.

Such an impressive dermatologist. We’ve been to many. I’d say she’s the best dermatologist on the Northshore and possibly all of Louisiana. If you’re in her care area count yourself lucky.

Love this doctor. She takes the time with her patients to explain things, and in the past, when surgery was required, her suturing was fantastic. Absolutely no scar. I've never waited longer than 10 minutes to see her, and she always has a warm and friendly disposition. I would recommend her highly.

Dr. Soine is the best and she takes time to listen to what my concerns were. She treats her patients with a great deal of respect.The staff is absolutely amazing and very kind. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is in need of a great dermatologist!

I have been seeing Dr Soine since 2018, Twice a year. She has been very observant finding spots I did not even know I had. Over the years I have been seeing her she has detected several spots that needed surgery. Great Dr.
