Mr. Marek Stawiski

I have been going to Dr. Stawiski for quite sometime. His staff and himself were always on top of things and assisted in a timely manner (busy days were understandable). Ever since Stawiski left, I have had nothing but unpleasant and rude encounters with the staff. I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment, I did not get in until 1 hour later. After asking the front desk staff, they proceeded to tell me people who arrived 30 minutes after me were being let in because their "appointment was scheduled for before yours, they just showed up late", as if someone who arrives late would still be entitled to that time slot. I was also told there were no samples but had no issue grabbing samples when Stawiski was in office. The staff on the phone stated they could not give me a sample of my medication after THEY messed up my refill, when I arrived to the office, Dr. Z gave me a sample and his nurse repeatedly stated "i don’t know who told you that you can’t get samples". I, AGAIN, had to drive up there because nobody answers the phone or returns voicemails because they, AGAIN, screwed up my refill. I used to recommend this office to everyone, this dermatologist office is so horrible I already have an appointment at a new one.

Been going to Dr Stawiski for 50 years regarding psoriasis. Always been taken care of. But lately it’s so hard to get someone on the phone, get someone to call you back and make an appointment. Then you get to your appointment and you have to wait 1/2 hour to 45 minutes past your appointment time. They closed the Jenison office so Grand Rapids is the only option now. They have helped me once I finally get into see them and will continue to go through them, just wish it wasn’t always so hard to do so.

Seems like you can never get ahold of them, always have to leave a message, but then they almost never call back. Kind of insane, huh? For the past 3 months, I've left probably about 20 voicemails just to figure out what was going on with my prescription. Pharmacy says they never got it, so I have to call this office - which never answers if that isn't obvious already - and be told that they did everything correctly on their end, that they DID send in the prescription. After 3 months, they actually answered one of my calls! Turns out they've sent my refill to the WRONG LOCATION THE WHOLE TIME!!! What a joke. If you want to be ignored and gaslit, this is the place for you 🙂

Had visit with Matt today for a couple of concerning areas. Froze some pre cancer on scalp and took a few biopsies from back and legs. Very efficient and knowledgable. Felt well cared for. Awesome practice.

I have been going to get treatment for eczema for over a year now. The treatment has definitely worked as indicated by my physician Dr. Beth Sweeny and more importantly all the personnel in the office from the receptionist to the nurses and the checkout desk treat you with respect and joy making you feel welcomed and looking forward to the next visit. I definitely recommend this treatment center!

If I could give him a zero I would !!! He told me after cutting me face 2 times that it wasn’t basil cell cancer after it kept coming back , I ended up going to a new place and it was basil cell and had about half my face taken off because of him! He sucks to go to for any thing related to the skin ! Stay away !!!!

Dr. Stawiski is probably the best dermatologist in Western Michigan. My experience with Marek Stawiski has been positive for the last twenty years.
