Minneapolis Anti-Aging & Skin Clinic

**Edited as I had the incorrect employee previously named. I have been to this clinic 4 times now and previously saw Dr. Gervais 10 years ago for surgery. He is fantastic and my injector Cheryl is very nice and does a fantastic job- I have been happy with everything she has performed. Unfortunately the front desk employee Kathy seems to not enjoy customer service which has led to this review lacking stars and I will no longer be returning to this location. Pros: Cheryl is lovely and does amazing work. They promptly respond and are able to schedule quickly. Cons: I have had long waits before and have seen clients who came after me get in first but a few 10 minutes extra waiting here and there weren't terrible. However I was scheduled for a 5:20pm appt (not by my choice, I have a very open schedule and it was the time suggested to me.) Someone said on the phone that we could do the consultation and the injection in the same appt so no worries and a note would be made. The consultation was $50 but went toward the price of the service. All of that sounded great to me as I live farther away and preferred to do the consultation and injections at the same time (it's not my first time with this service either). I arrived 10 minutes early with other clients arriving after me and being seen first. I sat for 45 minutes before I was taken back and told that we no longer had time for my appointment and I had to reschedule for another day. During my 45 minutes, I heard Kathy complain about other clients and seem like she really didn't want to be at work. This all was very frustrating as a client who showed up early and has already spent thousands of dollars here, to be treated as an annoyance on the schedule and disregarded. They agreed to waive the consultation fee but having sat in the waiting room for 45+ minutes to be told to go home is not cool. I told them exactly what the receptionist told me on the phone (that I could do the service and consultation in this appt) and I was told "nope that doesn't sound right" as if I'm lying but either way everyone already went home because I was waiting so long. So as lovely as Cheryl is, that was frustrating and not sure how often that happens here but I don't think I'm willing to try again.

My friend and I recently had our Botox done by Cheryl. She was awesome! I couldn’t be happier already with my results. The clinic is always so beautiful and well kept when I come in, staff was friendly, they worked hard to give me the best price they could. Highly recommend Cheryl. Also really appreciate Lonna assisting with coordinating our appointments so my friend and I could have appts back to back. It was my friend’s first time getting Botox. She was nervous. Cheryl really put her at ease, explained everything thoroughly. She really listened to what my friend wanted from this experience. She is also very happy with her results. Thanks Cheryl, I now feel just as beautiful on the outside as I do on the inside!

I had a wonder experience having lip injections by Britney Gorman. I have had injections from other places and I feel that everyone should feel confident going to Britney. I felt no discomfort, Britney is calm and confident. She has a vision and expertise. She is open to taking a minimal, natural look approach that fits my needs and goals. She worked with me to ensure I was getting the look I wanted. I absolutely love the outcome. My lips look natural and full. I love them! Thank you Britney! I look forward to our next appointment! You’re wonderful to work with. Beautiful and intelligent! Woohoo!

I came here for lip filler for the first time and had a great experience with Cheryl!! I was very anxious about everything and she was very attentive and eased all me concerns. She listened to what I wanted done and gave me such beautiful, natural looking lips!! I’m so happy with the results!!

I always was afraid to get Botox; I didn’t want to look fake. Brit knew I was nervous. I said multiple times "only a little bit". She understood & reassured me I would look natural. Oh my, I loved it! I felt refreshed & my face looked natural. I will definitely go back to her. I also had my first hydro-facial with Nicole. How relaxing! I loved it! Truly a spa treatment. I wanted to know the steps along the way & Nicole walked me through everything & answered all my questions. My face felt like "silk". I will return! I highly recommend seeing both Brit and Nicole for your skin care needs, they are experienced, knowledgeable & take their time to understand the clients wishes and do so with such a polite & calming manner.

I had a disconcerting experience at this place. I’ve been getting procedures done here for about a year and have been very happy with my experience…until the last time I went in. My appointment was great. Sara is fantastic. No complaints about the experiences I have had with her whatsoever. However - at the end of my appointment when I went to pay, I was asked by the receptionist (who called to ask if I could come in early - which was also annoying) if I would like to leave a tip for the medical procedure I had just had done. In a clinical setting where I have shared my medical history, have signed a medical release form and HIPAA form, I should not be asked to tip my provider no matter how great they are. Tipping under these circumstances undermines the integrity of the practice by setting a precedent whereas people can be treated at a certain level based on their history of leaving tips. Think about that: your body being treated a certain way based on how good of a tipper you are. We are American, we know how people behave when it comes to tips and introducing this in a medical practice is dangerous and unethical. I wrote to them describing my concerns and never heard back so I will leave this on google so other people can decide how they want to deal with these very personal procedures and decide if they want to patronize a place that could potentially base their level of care on the amount of tip one leaves. Don’t encourage this behavior. There are other good places around the metro who wouldn’t dare do this as it is unprofessional and insulting to people who are already entrusting others to work on their body.

Britney is truly the best - she made me feel so comfortable during my appointment. She is kind, knowledgeable and helpful. I will recommend her every time. Thank you, Britney!
