I had a wonderful experience at Dr Gaffney's office, after being misdiagnosed by 2 dermatologist and wasting 4 years. Dr. Gaffney nailed it. The wait time was a piece of cake. The staff was caring and attentive. I would recommend Dr Gaffney to anyone that is looking for a great dermatologist.

I’ve been to Dr. Gaffney’s on three separate occasions and I’ve been seen relatively quickly (wait time is short). I was surprised as I read reviews about long wait times. Dr. Gaffney and nurse (Tamara) have been knowledgeable and professional. I felt like Doctor Gaffney could offer more advice/suggestions on issues, spend a bit more time on patient’s questions (perceived as perhaps mundane or irrelevant) or asking if patient had further concerns. For example, I had a cyst removed by Doctor and when I returned, I did not see the doctor or hear about pathology. The nurse removed the stitches and said it looked good. Perhaps this is standard protocol. My assumption was I was okay. However, on my return visit, Doctor asked if I had any problems with the incision. Some of the front office staff are not super warm or overly friendly (they don’t smile much). However, even with the above comments, as long as my concerns are addressed, I would return. The office is elegant and clean. There are plenty of parking spaces.

I am here on 01/30/2026 and my app was at 10:15 and is 10:50 and I still don’t get call in, the front desk is so rude and lazy. Now that I know all this I will go somewhere else to get dermatology care. Truly a disgrace and I won’t recommend it for anyone. If their time is money, believe my my time is money as well.

When I pulled into the parking lot, there was no where to park. I had to park around the front of the building. Then I get inside and the waiting room was packed. When I checked in the lady was not going to tell me they were AT LEAST an hour and a half behind, but seeing the waiting room I asked. I asked about rescheduling, she said she "can't guarantee it won't be this bad or worse" with a reschedule, so apparently this is a regular thing. I left and had my doc write a referral to a different place.

First visit to the office encountered an extremely rude woman at sign in, Dr Gaffney seemed decent, medication was prescribed and given instruction to have bloodwork and a return visit 6 months later, ran out of medication 6 weeks prior to my recommended visit, contacted the office to get enough meds to make it to the 6 month check-up and was told not until my appointment would I be able to get my refills, as a patient I cannot go without meds, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND NOT GOOD SERVICE!!!!! ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND AS A HEALTH SERVICE! IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS TO THE STAFF THAT WOULD BE MY REVIEW

My family has been going here for years, I think Dr Gaffney himself is a good doctor, but the office staff is TERRIBLE. I called to ask a question about the medication I was taking and the lady on the phone was awful. She said "we told you". And I said "thats why I’m calling, I forgot." She literally didn’t give me an answer because she said I should know. They also told me I needed to get bloodwork every week and the quest labs they sent me too said I only had to do it every other week. They gave me misinformation, and I won’t be going back. They also don’t tell all the side effects of critical medications, I had to read it for myself and decided I couldn’t take what they gave me because I never knew what could happen.

Basal cell cancer is not treated here.I here have had several basal cell lesions removed since the 1990's here in 2009 by Dr. Gaffeny. I returned late April 2025 for reappearing nodual biopsied ,pathology said keratosis .I was told to see an opthamologist, its something else now. I returned for several appointments for this lesion April,May & June . This office does not treat basal cell carcinoma and referred me after 3 office visits finally in mid June to Occular plastic surgeons. Whom, also do not remove Basal cell cancer. They referr you to a Mohs surgeon and they close your open wound on a different date. I have had Mohs microscopic surgery and did not want to prolong this removeal of my basal cell cancer . I was laughed at when expressing its growing..It is and has been growing at an abnormal rate since biopsied 12-11-24 and liquid nitrogen did not hit all cells. It returned April 2025..Mohs surgery,is the only option given to me.Dispite my fear and anxiety.Seeking removeal of a carcinoma nodual since 12-11-24. Since a to a prior basal cell removeal took 2.8 years with this provider.My requests were constantly lost.
