I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Hardaway and her team for my breast augmentation. They are all very welcoming and sweet. I felt well prepared prior to my surgery. Follow up visits have been consistent and pleasant. I am extremely happy with my results. This can be a great option for Canadians looking for an experienced plastic surgeon that is not too far from the border.

I visited Aesthetic Plastic Surgery & Laser Center (Michelle Hardaway, M.D.) and left with one conclusion: unprofessional and disorganized. I’ll start with the only positive—the front desk staff was courteous and efficient. Everything went downhill after that. My sister and I booked back-to-back consultations (mine at 9:00 a.m., hers at 10:00 a.m.). I was taken back first and given an overview of breast augmentation by an associate who clearly needs more training. The consultant seemed more interested in fashion (for reasons that escape me) than in making sure the doctor saw patients in the order scheduled. I would have preferred to spend that time with the actual physician instead of someone who clearly needs additional training. Nearly an hour later, she finally returned to say, "The doctor is with your sister; she’ll be in shortly." Excuse me? That’s not how this works—I was here first. It was an imbecile move that screamed incompetence. And let me be crystal clear: my time is money—obviously a concept she does not understand. An hour passed. No doctor. No update. No courtesy check-in. Meanwhile, I could hear Dr. Hardaway meeting with my sister—the later appointment—while I sat waiting in a gown like my time didn’t matter. After an hour of silence, I got dressed and went to the lobby. Only then, a few minutes later, did Dr. Hardaway ask if I still wanted to be seen. At that point, the ask was absurd. For context: I’m from California and accustomed to baseline professional standards—respect for appointment times, clear communication, and competent clinical staff. TTo make matters worse, my sister actually liked her consult—. She was planning to compare multiple consults to make a careful, informed decision. Now she’s disappointed and reconsidering entirely. Your office didn’t just lose one patient; you lost two—not because of pricing or results, but because of avoidable, basic failures. If anyone at this practice is listening: Keep appointment order and respect the clock. If you’re running behind, say so. Train the staff on giving procedure overviews so they can answer questions confidently and correctly. Communicate—leaving a patient in a room for an hour without a word is inexcusable. Front desk aside, this was a trust-destroying experience. I won’t be back. SDH
