Doctor Vazquez and his assistant* were most excellent to work with! (*I did not get his assistant's name, unfortunately, but she was wonderfully patient and helpful!) They were a very knowledgeable pair with perfect bedside manner. The receptionist said they could only cover one or two skin issues at a time at my initial consultation, but the good doctor was able to address most of mine (4 of 5) in the same visit, thankfully. The clinic's coordination vis computer systems could use some improvement. For example, it sent me a couple of identical texts within the same hour less than a day before my appointment, asking me to doenload and log into their patient portal app before my appointment, but signing up for an account requires a code from an email that they were supposed to have sent, which I never received in spam or otherwise. The SMS text was also not very convincingly legitimate, so I had to take time to verify it was genuinely from my doctor's office. It also doubled its reminder texts the day before and the day of the appointment for some unknown reason. Just needs some polish and I will give it 5 stars!

Scheduling staff was wonderful. PA was a bit rude and abrupt though."I already explained that" when I was confirming what I heard her say, and asked what she would recommend. Probably had a bad morning. Going to get my lesion frozen at home, ( they don’t get paid enough or insurance doesn’t cover it) and will continue to use chemo cream as she couldn’t diagnose it after I started it and had been off for two weeks. I can tolerate rudeness from a stellar surgeon, but not a nurse. Going to try Frontier the next time I drive 4 hours for professional dermatology department to make a skin check.

I've been here several times before and was always happy. Went this past week though and I explained when making the appointment 4 months ago (i wonder if they schedule so far or for non ohp clients) my daughter and I wanted to be together as she gets nervous without me. From the moment they called our names our wishes were completed ignored and forced into separate rooms. I explained I wanted us together REPEATEDLY even after being out in my room. They continued to ignore and say we had to be in separate rooms. Both seeing the same Dr. even! I finally gave in and went through my appointment. 1. Scalp issues.... "see a neurologist" seriously? The scalp is skin! 2. Eyelash/ eyelid skin issues... "stop plucking your eyelashes and see an opthomoligist" I have hypothyroidism which makes me not have them but way to lay the blame. 3. Warts - "see your primary care" My time was done so I say I'm heading over to my daughter. Dr said "you can go to the waiting room and she'll meet you out there." when I explain I hold medical power of attorney and she needs me with her as she has a traumatic brain injury she once again said no. So I let it go. Got dressed slowly then went to her room and owned the door and asked my daughter "are you OK? " she said yes she was fine. I told her it's wait outside because the Dr at this point became absolutely irate yelling "EXCUSE ME YOU DON'T..." but it's cut her off purposely. Parents have EVERY RIGHT to be with their children in the exam room. Tong to strong arm parents away from their children raises a great concern with what exactly is it your doing that you with special needs patients when you refuse their caregivers entry. For any future clients with special needs I would be extremely cautious here. Especially if they don't like going alone. I've never been denied accompanying my daughter in a doctor's office before. Something seriously suspicious going on here. They'd never had a problem with her being in the room before btw. If you don't want to treat ohp patients then don't waste our time by making an appt.

I showed up for my appointment 4 minutes late, waited in line for the receptionist for 2 minutes, so I was 6 minutes late. The women who helped me had to be one of the rudest people ever. Not a pleasant greeting and just rude. I was told I need to reschedule my appointment since I was 6 minutes late. Looked at the 3 people waiting for their appointments and thought this is no way to run a business. She asked me if I would like to reschedule and that it would be several months out. I can understand a late policy, but with typically 15 minutes grace period. With the late policy and being treated poorly at the front desk, I would never go back here again.

Scheduling - I arrived prior to my appointment time and was told that because I'd not come 30 min early, I needed to reschedule. I said I was not told that when I scheduled my appointment, so that was not factored in when I put it into my calendar. They said they'd sent a text the evening before. I checked and they had, at 7:04 pm. I hadn't gotten it, as I was at an event and it was after business hours. The number was 5 digits and I screened it as non emergency so it was ignored. They cannot expect someone to change their schedule the night before an appointment to arrive earlier. Even had I read it, I could not come earlier due to logistics which barely allow me to even arrive by my scheduled appointment time. I will continue to post negative reviews and share by word of mouth that this is unacceptable. I am not coming for vanity purposes, but for health purposes, and rescheduling my appointment due to their poor communication is unacceptable patient care. I'd also have to take another day off work, also unacceptable. They were dismissive and patronizing, while I was calm, friendly and honest.

Office staff is always friendly. Amanda is always straight forward. Appointments are generally quick, minimal pain. I'm glad to have them helping me. Five stars

After being treated poorly and blown off by another local practice that enjoys making excuses for their bad behavior… Cascade Dermatology and Associates came in clutch with professional behavior and office staff that are willing to answer the phone and do their jobs. Save yourselves the trauma of being blown off by Dr. Clark and his staff at Willamette Valley Dermatology and do your business here! No excuses, no fuss, no rudeness, no gaslighting, and they treat you like they actually care! Peacehealth Riverbend ER, take note - THIS is where you should be sending your patients!
