I can’t say enough good things about OSU Dermatology West and Dr. Dunaway. From day one, the level of care, professionalism, and genuine concern has been outstanding. Dr. Dunaway took the time to listen, explain options clearly, and tailor treatment in a way that made me feel heard and taken seriously. That alone puts him a cut above most specialists. What really sets this office apart, though, is how far they went beyond basic medical care. The staff helped navigate insurance hurdles, prior authorizations, and all the usual bureaucratic nonsense that normally gets dumped on patients. They were proactive, responsive, and clearly invested in making sure I got the care I needed without unnecessary delays or stress. Every interaction I’ve had with this office has been compassionate, efficient, and respectful. It’s rare to find a medical team that combines clinical excellence with this level of advocacy and follow-through. I’m genuinely grateful to Dr. Dunaway and his entire staff for going above and beyond. If you’re looking for dermatology care where you’re treated like a person and not a chart number, this is the place.

The doctor, nurse and the rest of the care team are amazing ! They are so kind and welcoming. The Doctor , Dr.Tyler is amazing and so knowledgeable. She takes the time to explain and listen to her patients. I had a great experience at this office.

I am a long time patient of Dr. Bechtal and could not be happier with his care. I also have been dealing with nurse Clarissa at the West office for the past 5 years. She is very professional, accessible, and always pleasant. Dr. Dunaway at the West office is also compassionate, always on time, and an excellent dermatologist. Being a physician myself, my standards are high, and would highly recommend OSU dermatology!

Have been going to OSU Dermatology for years. Dr. Kaffenberger is awesome. She accurately diagnoses and treats any skin-related irregularities she observes during my routine periodic checkups to improve both skin health and and appearance.

Dr Ben Kaffenberger is a wonderful dermatologist! He provides great care and explains all treatment options. In a healthcare environment where taking time to listen to patients is rare and almost obsolete, at each appointment, I am reminded why I drive 2 hours to be a patient under his care.
