Skin Cancer & Dermatology Center: Brett Matheson MD

I called to ask how my brother could get his results from this dermatology center . The Dr. did a skin biopsy and was going to prescribe some medicine. The lady who answered the phone was curt and rude , I believe her name is Elizabeth. She said she would not discuss any information with me . I asked To speak to someone else, and she said that I could not and that they would tell me the same thing. I did not ask any details of my brothers visit. The only question I asked is how will he be able to get the results? He is not able to contact the office on his own. Extremely frustrating. I would not recommend. This was the Pueblo location.

Dr Matheson, without a single doubt, is the best dermatologist surgeon I have ever heard of or experienced myself. He does care, very much, about his patients. He is very, very good and thorough. Someone complained about Dr Matheson being too aggressive with his initial surgery cut on her face. Be an adult and realize that surgery is usually accompanied by some pain. Instead of whining about pain be glad you're not dying of skin cancer of the face.

Dr. Mathewson was very personable. He used the latest technology and did it well. He told my husband he was cancer free when he was finished. Great words to hear. The staff was also great to work with. We highly recommend him.

The staff in this office is amazing! Doctors need to remember that they are not perfect. I am the 1%. I had surgery done by Dr. Matheson on my face. The first cut was to aggressive and I suffered for it. I would not be writing this if he cared.

I have been a patient of Tara Burton for many years. She is patient, friendly and thorough. She has helped ensure that my skin is well cared for and any concerns are addressed quickly. I have dealt with several incidents of basil cell carcinoma, one of which was a Mohs procedure. Their new offices are gorgeous and their staff is always helpful and friendly. Recommend them to everyone!

I feel blessed to have Dr Matheson as my doctor. He removed several cancerous spots from my nose and temple. The process was well explained, not too painful, and most importantly, it successfully removed the cancer with the smallest possible footprint. He personally followed up by phone the night of the procedure, which thankfully wasn't needed but would be especially nice if you were worried about anything. Thank you to the Doctor and the team there, your passion is appreciated! I hate to say it, but I'll probably be back. Wear your sunblock, everyone!
