Dr McLeod is an AMAZING doctor and human being! She cares for her patients and dedicates herself to ensuring they receive the best results. I’ve been seeing her for about 7 years and look forward to our visits. Unequivocally, PPSD is the best dermatology office in North Carolina.

I researched and found that Dr. Tonya McLeod is one of the best Plastic Surgeons around. I called to schedule an appointment and was on a waiting list (of over 6 months). I didn’t let the wait deter me. I waited patiently, calling back weekly for any cancellation I could grab. My appointment wait date continued to get shorter and shorter by the week. Finally, it was time for my appointment. I drove over an hour to get there. Once I arrived, I noticed that the office stays quite busy, but the check-in staff managed to keep up. My wait time in the lobby was approximately 30 mins but I didn’t mind at all. Once being called back and meeting her, I must say that she is totally worth the wait. Very knowledgeable, professional and personable. She was able to initiate a solution for me and even recommended other products to improve my skin and health. So, I’ll continue to make the drive for quality patient care! Thanks so much Dr. Tonya!

I am so mad that I waited so long to make an appointment with Dr. McLeod. She is incredibly knowledgeable, personable, efficient, and kind. I struggled with AD for many years and she quickly resolved the vast majority of the issue and educated me on ongoing care in one visit. I highly recommend her services!

I’ve never felt so rushed and unheard. I’m disgusted at my treatment after being a longtime client. My condition worsened under her care and guidance and there seemed to be a lack of care about it. My time, energy and more was wasted. Update: Went to another dermatologist, got a skin biopsy (which I was denied one by Tonya) and it was able to provide insight to the concerns I had been trying to figure out for months while I was her patient. I was prescribed the appropriate medicine and I’m now better. Please please please get a second opinion when faced with situations like mine. I wish I had sooner. I stalled believing that as a black female provider, she would provide high quality care as we had that in common, but I was wrong. It pains me to write this review but I cannot get over how rushed and unheard she made me feel, while I was noticeably in pain.

Dr. McLeod and her staff were simply exceptional! Not only is Dr. McLeod highly skilled with the obvious top notch training and background -- I was thrilled with my results -- she is extremely personable, warm, empathetic and kind. I have the highest possible standards when it comes to my medical professionals, and Dr. McLeod exceeded all of my expectations! She is absolutely marvelous, and I would recommend her with the highest level of confidence.

Dr McLeod is the best!! She makes me feel and look great. She will go over what you want, and the best way to achieve those results. I wanted to stay as natural looking as possible. I love when I tell people that I am 63!! I have gotten "and it is all natural?" I am honest and say that it is helped by seeing dr. McLeod

Dr. McLeod is very professional and has a great bedside manner she is always ready to reassure you during a procedure hold your hand, give you comforting words, share stories or have you tell her a story to distract from what’s going on she’ll even use her massage tool on you to relax you. Whatever it takes to make her patient comfortable she’ll go the extra mile. I helps also that she has competent staff like Samantha with similar disposition as hers professional yet friendly and willing to go the extra mile.
