Dr. Marc A. Darst, MD

I credit Dr Darst with saving my life after he identified and immediately removed a melanoma I had in 2014. He then recommended a great oncologist. Dr Darst is smart, friendly, and went out of his way to get me support from another Dr when he was going to be out of town. I go back to him for follow up care every 6 months now.

Dr Darst was incredibly attentive to my needs. I was very afraid to try to botox and he patiently walked me through every step of the way, and even called me that night to check with me. He also helped me with something I have been struggling with for a long time (malesszia/tinea of the face), and while it was misdiagnosed by many derms before, he really wanted to get to the bottom of it. I highly reccomend Dr Darst and his very attentive team!

One of the worst experiences possible. He refused to take his hands out of his pockets until when the nurse asked if I would be returning for a.follow up. It was only when I said no I would not be returning because I had made the appointment because I needed medical care and had not yet received that care. I was dismissed. The doctor told me I had one condition and prescribed medication for that. But when not satisfied with the treatment I called the Office Manager to request the dr review his treatment plan for me. I was told the doctor had written a completely different diagnosis than what he had verbally said in the presence of his nurse. He assumed I didnot deserve the care I sought and so did not provide it. I am still trying to understand why I was profiled and lied to and misdiagnosed. Dont see Dr. darat. Not if you actually care about your health!

Went today for the first time and was completely unimpressed. Saw the PA for my sons impetigo and she was useless. Wouldn’t even come near him, made him take his own band aids off and had nothing to say that was of any help at all. I basicsllly told her what it was and what needed to be done. She also told me he can go back to school which is not true since he should be on antibiotics for 24 hours before returning. Scary

Dr Darst is not what you want in a dermatologist. He is cold, judgemental and increasingly more concerned with the beauty side of dermatology than the medical side. I switched dermatologists and my condition has greatly improved. He was a waste of time, money and self esteem.

I went to see Dr Darst for a lesion on my face that I was worried about. I knew the date it appeared. Dr Darst said he thought it was a scar. I told him that wasn't the case, since I knew when it appeared but he was firm it was fine. It wasn't fine. I went to another dermatologist who biopsied the site and it was basal cell carcinoma. I'm glad I decided to get a second opinion. After this happened I requested a copy of my records. When they were mailed to me they had accidently included someone else's records along with mine.

I suffered for 4 years before finding Dr Darst. He diagnosed me when no one else could. The meds prescribed put me on the track to recovery. Highly recommend!!!
