Charlotte Dermatology | University Office

From the time I entered office and I was greeted by a very sweet receptionist who efficiently checked me in. The nurse was also very nice and efficient. I did not have along wait for the doctor. Dr. Slaughter was very efficient and immediately offered a solution to my issue. As a new patient I was so pleased that I was in and out with a very pleasant experience. I highly recommend this office!

Mrs Sherry is the absolute worst person ever! She needs to be fired immediately. I walked in with a smile and was greeted with a dark cloud. This lady was so rude to me and non welcoming. How is she first point of contact with her devil like attitude? Please sit her in a back closet so she doesn’t disturb good energy of patients! Ohhhh and the doctor had the same energy! Very dismissive, I informed him of areas of concern and informed him that at the east 7th street location they were removed by the doctor, he immediately said " I don’t feel comfortable, doing so" I was baffled as to why are you here… to not listen and take folks money. Very pointless visit. I would’ve been better off using goggle then going here

First visit to Charlotte Dermatology. Hit the jackpot with Dr. Slaughter and his team!!! Very thorough, professional, and courteous. Made it a priority to resolve my dermatological concerns on very first visit. I fully endorse and give my highest recommendation to Dr. Slaughter and his team!!!

I had an incredibly touching experience at the office! The staff truly embraced me with their warmth and kindness. Their friendly demeanor and genuine care made me feel so welcome and valued. I could hardly hold back my emotions when the nurse said she would see me in six months; they've really become like family to me.

Dr. Slaughter is always a consummate professional, who is very patient and methodical in evaluating and diagnosing his patients. His PA Natasha was excellent along with their nurse Michelle. They treated me with kindness as they took their time to totally understand what was best for my skin care.

I had an unpleasant experience at the front desk. The older Black lady working there never greeted me when I arrived her head stayed down, and she just peeked over her glasses to ask if I had filled out paperwork. Later, when she asked me to send over my insurance information, I mistakenly sent the wrong card. Instead of showing patience or professionalism, she responded with a twisted facial expression and a very rude, condescending tone. This kind of treatment made me feel disrespected and uncomfortable. After reading other review about Mrs Sherry I’m concerned as to why Charlotte Dermatology allow her behavior to continue and not correct with educational videos on customer service. I understand we all have bad days but her attitude/behavior is repetitive! Then she had nerve to play gospel music and treating patients very poorly

Dr Slaughter is one of the nicest Dr’s we have ever met. My teenage son and i enjoyed our appointment and will be a regular client from now on.
