Something told me to read the reviews before I went to this office. And reading them now it made complete sense. Let’s start from the top. I walk in for my appointment and the white British lady asked for my name. After a minute she said "actually can you check him in" to the other sweet office girl. Super rude and dismissive. I tell the assistant what my issues are and she lets me know the doctor will be in. This man barely looked at me and did not even examine me. He literally stood on the other side of the room while he was talking to me. He spoke in a very rude and disrespectful manner. I tried to ask him questions about what I was concerned with. He didn’t seem to care and said we will monitor it. Wanted to put me on accurate for a few blackheads and irritated skin? I agreed with him I guess since he’s the Dr. After attempting to sign me up for some pledge for Accutane I found out my previous doctor signed me up but I never went through treatment. The way this man spoke to me about having to call and transfer my care to him I had to hold myself back. I had already done the transfer while I sat there and he didn’t even take the time to check. He left and said he wound check. In comes the nasty British lady again accusing me of already being in treatment and that I needed to call and transfer to which I told her I already did. And then she made sure she reiterated that they can’t treat me until I call them and transfer it. All while they are standing in the hallway WITH THE DOOR OPEN. She dismissively said I’ll walk you out and "once you get that transferred over we will schedule you another appointment" I know when I’m not wanted in a place and the reason why. As a person of color I can definitely say that I was not wanted in this office at all. Stay away from this office. I will never return to this awful practice.

Dr. Nowicky and his team are amazing! I've received the best, most professional and reliable care over the years. I don't feel rushed and my concerns are always patiently heard and addressed. Very thorough - which is seriously important to me to leave feeling confident, having gone through cancer twice. Highly recommend!! EDIT 2/23/26: I came on to check office hours, and happened to come across reviews that have me BAFFLED! Like we can't be talking about the same Doc and staff. They've all been so lovely, for YEARS! It's beyond me, how anyone could have had a negative experience. My best guess is that you get what you give, perhaps? They definitely care about their patients and go above and beyond!!

Felt rushed, some guessing, prescriptions sent. No recommendations on diet change or healthy alternatives to prevent flare up of what I THINK is eczema(don’t even think I got an official dx) Spent 15-20 minutes filling out paperwork including medical history, as well as showing pix of me and my daughters skin issues, only for the Dr. not to review any of it before hand. Felt like he didn’t want to touch me to look at my hands good. Not a good experience. I should have known when my initial appt was rescheduled twice on short notice. Then upon scheduling a recommended 6 week follow up, I was told that my secondary insurance will not be accepted starting September 1st. Why wouldn’t you tell me this when I scheduled the first appointment? Now I have to find another dermatologist that will accept both of my insurances, which I don’t mind after this experience. Edit: 8/27/2025 I received a letter informing me that they are excusing me from the practice AS IF I didn’t already state this in this review. This lets me know that they are reading the reviews and aren’t doing anything to be better! I thought it was comical. Please always check reviews before deciding on a medical practice, restaurant etc.

I recently visited Carolina’s skin center with Dr.David, when I got there they quickly and accurately diagnosed my skin condition and explained the treatment options in a way that was easy to understand. They were also patient, attentive, and genuinely concerned about my well-being. I never felt rushed during my appointment, and all my questions were thoroughly answered. The office was also very efficient, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend going to Dr. David to anyone seeking a knowledgeable and caring dermatologist.

I had a really good experience at my dermatologist appointment. The staff was super friendly, the wait was quick, and the doctor explained everything clearly and made me feel comfortable. The office was clean, and I left feeling confident and well taken care of. Highly recommend!

If you have a cyst, find a new place. I did. I paid for a consult and rather than remove the cyst, I was rescheduled when it was not the right time to do the procedure. So in order to proceed, I was required to pay for another consult. Found a different Dr who said Norwicky missed the window! So now I have to wait. That is a $250 consult fee down the drain. Also terrible customer service. Have yet to have my calls and requests for paperwork returned. It has been almost a year. FAIL

I recently visited this dermatologist for treatment of skin tags and DPNs, and my experience was extremely disappointing. The doctor was dismissive and confrontational from the start. He asked me the same question three different times about which DPNs I wanted removed, even though I answered clearly each time and even pointed to them. His attitude was unkind and made me very uncomfortable. Because of this, I chose not to move forward with the procedure. I left feeling unheard and unsure why the interaction felt so difficult. I would not return and cannot recommend this provider based on my experience.
