Love the Doctors and staff. Super friendly and professional. I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes to see the doc.

I've gone to Dr. Julie Harper and her PA, Rebecca Edwards, for over 16 years now. Despite moving from the area, I make the drive because the care at Dermatology & Skin Care of Birmingham is so worth it. Dr. Harper is incredibly efficient and knows exactly where and how much filler one needs. The facials are dreamy. She also has a great, truly incredible staff, and checkout is fun because she sells products I need anyway. Also, open houses. Birmingham has so many wonderful dermatologists, and Dr. Harper is one of the absolute most trustworthy doctors in the field in our area (and I have been to several:)!

Dr. Julie Harper is the absolute BEST! I have been going to her as a patient for more than 10 years! Found skin cancer and caught it early! I fully believe she saved my life! Fantastic staff and its always like visiting friends! More than 5 Stars - I give her and her staff one thousand stars!

I have been seeing Dr Harper since 2007 and she has been phenomenal since day one. I have a disorder called hyperhidrosis that I assumed could only be treated with surgical procedures, but Dr Harper set me up on a medicinal regime that has worked wonders for 11 years! I see her every year for my annual check up and she’s always an absolute treat to meet and catch up with! She’s so warm and kind, she’s always eager to ensure my treatment is still going as it should, and I’m always excited for my appointments because of her personality! I love Dr Harper! I always recommend all of my skin challenged friends to her as well. Back in 2007 I had no idea what I was getting into, but I’m so glad I connected with the perfect doctor to ensure my well being. She changed my life those 11 years ago and I will always be grateful for her.

Myself and all of my coworkers and family members all go see Dr. Harper. She is patient, yet timely. She is also kind and there to take care of you. I am surprised to see other negative comments on here (mostly about timing/scheduling) because every time I go in I am taken back very quickly and my routine appointments never take more than 30 minutes in and out the door (which I love). The nursing staff is great and Dr. Harper is truly wonderful.

I was seen twice at Dr. Harper's clinic. Once while I was newly pregnant so they had to reschedule later in my pregnancy which is to be expected. Both times I was not seen by her but by her NP. Her NP was really nice and informative. But both times I was greeted not so nicely by the front desk staff. I sat in the waiting room well beyond my appointment both times and 4 other patients that came in after me went ahead of me. One patient walked in and was taken straight back. I had another appointment scheduled and was now going to be late for so I asked the desk staff if I was next. The staff rudely explained that they had multiple doctors in the office and the other patients may or may not have been being seen by the same doctor as me. I understand this because I also work in the medical field but what I don't understand is why I was not given an explanation and/or an apology and why they had to be so rude about it. I switched to someone else because of my experience here.

Bad experience with appointments!! I live over an hour away from Dr Harper's office so I am very careful about my appointments. Went for a procedure and was told they did not have the appointment in there system. A few months later I called the day before to make sure they were doing botox treatments the next day and was told the time had changed to 3 - 4. Got to the office and was told "sorry Dr. Harper went home" and that I should check their Facebook page before I come. Needless to say I won't be back. I like Dr. Harper and her Nurse Practitioners are wonderdul! Front office is terrible!
