Absolutely amazing. I wanted to order a bowl but they had sold out of all of them. Do I got the hamburger. Each week they have a special. I can't believe how amazing it was. I could taste the different layers of flavors but wouldn't exactly pint point all of them. They are in the same common space as at least 3 other food businesses, sharing the seating area. Great place. Lots of seating and atmosphere was very comfortable and exactly what you need for a BBQ food location, a bar with martinis , a bistro and a wine bar!! I have edits this review several times as I continue to sit here. Very clean. The young man who was cleaning was doing a very good job. I'm not sure I've seen someone clean door windows at 8:30 PM in a restaurant. He has swept the floor often. A great worker to keep.

This place never misses. The pork belly, brisket, and ribs are easily top 3 BBQ places in MI. They have the best brisket in MI with that perfect amount of smoke. My only disappointment with them is they run out quick so you need to get there as close to opening as possible. Ribs are smoked and seasoned perfectly. BBQ sauce is ok but their flavor and seasoning is so great their food can do without a BBQ sauce. The place stays in regular rotation.

Let's start witht he fast truth! I had the Pork Belly Rice Bowl with Red Slaw and medium spice. This is now registered as the best food experience my taste buds have ever encountered! Please come here and treat yourself to heavenly adventures of flavor combinations that will make your mind change the algorithms of life!!! Before I left, I ordered an identical bowl, and another 4 Oz. of brisket. After hours in the car, look at this melt in your mouth perfection!!!

Outdoor seating was nice! We got pork belly, brisket, spare rib and pulled pork bowls. My fav was the pork belly. You can choose from no spice, medium or spicy! Food was delicious.

Ordered brisket bowl (medium spice) with sesame cucumbers and pulled pork sandwich. Food was exceptional. Quick, friendly service. Relaxed, chill atmosphere. They are sharing space with York, which seemed like a bar and cafe that serves fancy cheeses and deli meats. Ricewood is a true five star.

My first time here on a Friday for lunch with coworkers, and I turned out to be pleasantly surprised. The man at the counter taking and doling out orders is refreshingly kind and polite. I wanted a lot of veg with my bowl, so I ordered the OG Veggie bowl, which comes with a double portion of all four veg bombs, and I added a 4oz. portion of their brisket, since that is apparently what they are known for. Medium spice choice was perfect, as one of my coworkers ordered his Hot, and said he couldn’t really taste anything other than the heat! I was able to get two meals out of one bowl, as it’s a hefty portion! The only thing I’d recommend to the business is adding something sweet to the bowl, to balance out all that saltiness and spice, like mango or corn perhaps? Otherwise it was definitely a memorable lunch, and I’d definitely go back for more!

Very delicious. Got the spare rib bowl with sesame cucumbers and kimchi. The flavors went together perfectly and meat was seasoned to perfection. A bit on the pricey side (~$18 for my bowl). Very satisfied with my lunch 😋
