Ann Arbor Saline Dermatology: Joshua Bornstein, MD

Dr. Bornstein is great! He’s super kind and communicative. I spend at most a minute or two waiting before my appointment. By far the best dermatology experience I’ve had.

I called this clinic the on 7-7 to make an appointment. I even conferenced them in with my Dr so they could get all the information needed for a "global referral". My Dr. said it will be there within a week. (which it was). I asked this clinic to hold their open spot on the 21st for an appointment. They said they would. Besides processing the referral, I provided my address, email, phone, insurance, information, etc... Foreseeing a potential problem I even said to the receptionist "please do not give away this appointment!!" "It is difficult for me to make an appointment as I travel for a living and need to keep this once scheduled. I am going to take this day off work". I was confused when they called one week later (7-14) to say they received the referral and needed to schedule the appointment! I had already scheduled the appointment! They then said they gave away my appointment and the next one is not for several more weeks!#@#$@#$@!. I now had to get another referral for Forefront clinic (luckily just down road) which thankfully had the same day open that I had already arranged to take off work for Ann Arbor Saline Dermatology. I can't trust Ann Arbor Saline Dermatology for healthcare if I can't trust them to keep an appointment. If they were not going to keep the appointment they should have called me, emailed me or texted me because I gave them the information to do so as part of the scheduling process.

As a dermatologist myself, I feel very comfortable sending my UM student patients to Dr. Bornstein to assume care during the school year. They always tell me how kind and thorough he is. Thank you, Dr. Bornstein, for all of your hard work!

Dr. Bornstein and his incredibly supportive staff are a true gem. They are thorough, professional and empathetic. Dr. Bornstein takes the time to explain procedures, options and provides diligent follow up /aftercare. Convenient location with easy access and plenty of parking. The struggle to find a skilled, personable and caring Doctor is extremely difficult. We were referred to Dr. Joshua Bornstein by a dear family friend and found him to be a gifted, talented healer. He listens intently, he’s patient enough to explain (in layman’s terms) our issue and Dr. Bornstein is spot on all of his diagnosis’ and treatment.
