Amarillo Dermatology: Mc Carthy Rebecca A MD

I sought out Dr. McCarthy after going to another dermatologist here in Amarillo, and it was the BEST thing I could have done. Not only is she a fabulous doctor, no nonsense & takes the time to answer questions, her office staff is exceptional. Efficient and friendly, they actually respond and follow thru with any patient requests and issues. Highly recommend this office.

I've gone to Dr. McCarthy for years and she is a very good doctor. She removed a fairly large keloid cyst from my daughter's ear, and has helped me with various issues throughout the years. I highly recommend.

Always super rude. This doctor makes you feel like you are wasting her time. Yesterday she cut a cyst from my moms head without numbing it first. There are plenty of other good dermatologists around, you would be better off finding a different one.

Dr Rebecca McCarthy is always so pleasant….spends as much time as I need, and always answers all my questions! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dermatologist! The front office staff is always so friendly, and helpful….and they’re great at getting me in anytime I need an appointment!

I went here because they accepted my insurance and were accepting patients. I have never met a physcian as curt as Dr. Rebecca McCarthy. All questions concerning my skin were answered "it's genetics" with no posed solutions. In addition, every recommendation I asked for was answered with a non-specific "something mild" or "not really". Had I known my experience would be so disappointing then I would have gone to Dr. Elaine Cook, whom I might add does not accept insurance. Yes, I would rather spend more money, and get the help I'm seeking rather than paying a deductible for an appointment I would consider useless. I recommend that you do not waste your time or money.
